As you note yourself, SS is much smaller than even Patreon (nevermind Steam and such) so it doesn't generate anywhere near enough money for payment processors for them to see this loss as "too much" or even worthy of notice. Those peanuts are nowhere near "losing the value of the brand" as they see it. And if SS goes down as the result? It's no skin off their nose.

This is 100% completely untrue, it was baked into the game from the first release, and even after ripping most of it out, there are still numerous references to it within the game...

While the transitions are nice on their own given they are unskippable and there is soooo many of them they get kind of annoying honestly.

I just got more and more confused by the entire game by this update alone. Feels like a filler episode just happend.

Yeah, I had the same feeling about it being a filler episode, a lot of nothing just happened.
Well, I for one don't really care one way or another about incest. Or most kinks. I'm kink-agnostic. I will literally play anything if it's well made. And when I found this game months ago I already knew incest wasn't gonna be in it. I'm against censorship of any kind, but the well-madeness of a game is most important to me.
I thought the update was rad, rockin, wicked, dope boy fresh, and really neat.
The Chloe scenes mean I can continue to brave another day on this planet. The Miya and Grace scenes were surprisingly very moving (the talk with Miya, moreso than fucking her with a champagne bottle, lol). I also think it's cool to do a big party scene that's 'real time', in that being at a party from early evening through to midnight feels like a long time. The minigame element was so non-irritating that I actually enjoyed it too, which I'm in disbelief over. And I laughed multiple times, as usual, & this is really the only AVN that makes me laugh that hard.
Also, it feels like the story & some of the main characters (Grace, Miya & Chloe) have really locked into place now. I might be blessed by having the rest of the game relatively fresh in my memory (I replayed it) but, with what we learned here, I can start putting story elements together in my head in a meaningful way.
So yeah, the update's tight. If the next one comes sooner than this one did, even by a little bit, I'll have reached nirvana in no time.

Wow, another poster above trying to say no incest. I am literally convinced these people have never played this game before. They are just fake fans, who found the game just now. I hope these guys have fun with the logic gaps of "friends" and "roommates"
As for the dev, it felt he already had one foot out the door, a year and half later and finally an update, if he was going to ruin the story and ruin the game by removing incest, he should of just stayed gone and not released anything. Cause I rather have nothing then a piece of shit he put on the plate now.

You people are so fucking dramatic. The work put on display in this update is top tier, high above what 99% of shitty games on this site can ever hope to put out, and you're calling it "a piece of shit", because he was forced to severely downplay the incest, which almost ALL big games have had to do over the last couple years, because it's that or get permabanned from patreon, meanwhile the game itself is still fantastic. Get a fucking grip, guys.

What's your solution? Dev basically has 3 options in the current climate.
a) Keep it on Patreon with incest, get banned, game dies due to lack of development funding
b) Keep it on Patreon, remove the incest, get backlash from a subset of their audience
c) Move to SS, lose a vast majority of their funding because the audience has shown it doesn't like to migrate, and risk eventually getting banned from that platform once SS gets big enough to attract attention, also risk game being abandoned due to lack of development funding.
If you meant me, you should read more closely. I said "I found this game months ago (and) already knew incest wasn't gonna be in it". I didn't say 'was never intended to be in it'. I didn't say 'was devoid of logic gaps due to its removal'. I said exactly what I said: incest was already confirmed to be not in the game when I found it months ago.
I'm also pretty much on ya'll's side. I'm just remarking on the fact that incest is all people are talking about with this (banger) new update, but incest had already been confirmed to not be in the game way before the update & this payment processor drama hitting public consciousness. So it's not really new news. I agree that devs shouldn't be forced to not make incest games, or really forced to do or not do anything, under threat of demonetization / being de-platformed. I just like the game too much to stop playing it - what can I say?

you can start a new save and when asked for a name, use "episode2part2" to go directly into the update, with harem route enabled.

(I get that you like like it, but it's a HS harem game, with all it entails in terms of visuals and writing. Not a Mona Lisa pregnant with Shakespeare's baby)
I fully understand why he removed the incest content, but it doesn't make it any less disappointing that it's gone now. I'm still going to play and enjoy the hell out of this update, but a little bit of what made this AVN special is gone now.
