It is a fantasy world. And in most fantasy settings, gender or how a person is built doesn't have much to do with their actual strength since all the characters are extraordinary people who have abnormal strength. The strongest of ordinary men would have a no chance even against the weakest hero or villain.
That explanation would need some kind of mention in the story itself. It's unreasonable to expect the reader to assume that's how the fiction works. It's not even hard to do, just have a line or a paragraph that makes it clear. Maybe it could be one of the many questions the MC should have.

Even assuming that physics and biology are the same as real life Earth, the FMC hasn't accomplished any spectacular feats of strength so everything is fine as far as I'm concerned. It might become a problem if she suddenly overpowers bulky armored fighters with her slim one-handed sword and no armor of her own. She'll have to fight smarter and evasive, instead.

If the story was entirely in the fictional world, ok I'd accept it better. But the MC is from our real world with no other experience than a normal modern life.

Yeah but girls who are skilled fighters are hot, so I'm willing to suspend reality. If you've never spent an afternoon perusing female israeli army photos, you're missing out...

I agree that it should probably be mentioned if she suddenly feels much stronger than she was on Earth. But I don't think it unreasonable to assume women can be strong. There is a very large amount of fantasy works with women equally strong or stronger than their male counterparts.

And yet the MC is capable of doing magic and she is some sort of chosen (unless I've misunderstood something). Assuming that she is the same as she was on Earth seems strange to me.

I agree that the female MC doesn't seem to fit the role of a bodyguard (don't know for the male MC, I don't have - and don't intend to - played it).
It's the thing that bother the most for now. Why a succubus chose someone who don't seem to have the skill nor the physic to be her bodyguard.
It's the thing I want to ask Valerie all the times, why me?
Perhaps we will learn later that there was a good reason. But for now, I can't find one and I can't understand why the MC don't ask.

The worst part is that I fear Valerie has already given the reason and won't elaborate further. It seems the MC has more compatibility with her than anyone else would which means Val gets more energized after sex with the MC. That's not a good enough reason to pick the MC as a bodyguard. She's supposed to be a bodyguard not a rechargeable battery.

The MC is only at the beginning of her training, she can get some strength working for the apothecary and perhaps exercising. Besides with a sword agility and precision can be more efficient than strength, you can dodge a heavy blow and hit the right spot (the throat, under the arm, behind the knee...).

Also, are we going to meet the Grand Duke at some point?
They will indeed have a large role in the story. ;)
Are all these changes going to mean a new save?
Save files should continue to work as usual. These new choices will change some of the dialogue (with the protagonist being more on guard), but will eventually converge into the same text as the MC begins to trust Valerie more.

The reason for the MC being chosen will become much clearer over the course of Act 1. It wasn't for their potential physical strength, which is average at best, but rather their aptitude in other areas that give them significant value as a bodyguard.

To my mind, those heavy boxes weren't 500 pound crates, they were probably a bit heaver than "banker's Boxes," something office workers of any gender would be used to moving. Given everything else we accept in this story, the female protagonist being able to clean up a storage room doesn't take me out.

No doubt the biggest dick in the village. :D

One thing I am curious about is how our initial choices for the MC will affect play down the road. It's early, but I still don't know if I want to create 36 (2 (gender)*3 (sexual experience) *3 (problem solving) *2 (love/corruption)) plus variant paythroughs.
I suspect most will not become apparent for a while.

Good to know. In general, I tend to trust the developer to tell the story they want to tell, expecting that things will make some sense down the road.

I really doubt ionDivvy wants to write 36 distinct routes either. My guess is that it is going to be 4 playthroughs (man/woman * love/corruption) and "sexual experience" and "problem solving" is going to be mostly flavor. Like in Casual Desires where initial sexual experience is also just flavor.

EDIT: Also check out .

I'll check her out. I really should take a look at Casual Desires to get an better handle on the developer.

Seriously, I could see a system where some of the scenes are affected by experience.
Virgin = peeping and other creeping behaviors. Can't stop whipping it out like in POV porn.
Moderate experience = A little bit of creepy, but not anywhere near the level. Appreciation but not obsession
Experienced = May look in an open door and think "nice" then walk on.

In this case, I'd figure a virgin MC wouldn't have much to teach Val at all. A lot of awkward fumbling.

Whay just don't modifie Refuse with without game over scene, if you plan to make it game over just the poloe need to be game-over-free becous it make me thing that choise need to be make in later versions, not in prolog. But this way I can't accept to see other choise and the third one left at it was. Why jsut don't change "refues" in with Val save MC becous I only accpet the game over in in battle or mission but this It make me feel tricked into prolog. Just don't the third choise change the one you alredy have.

Thing is, you are going to have sex pretty quickly and often (can you play a total virgin that doesn't have sex?), so initial experience only matters at the start anyway.

Oh man, planned sharing content? Lets go. Has the dev given any indication to when that content would be coming?
Not only that, this dev is one who has a historical track record of delivering consistently, so I'm quite excited. This wont be a "v0.1 oh guys next month ill be starting work on a remake of the art"...

That's good to hear! I'm really excited now. I love Netorase/Sharing, so this was a nice surprise to stumble upon.
