That explanation would need some kind of mention in the story itself. It's unreasonable to expect the reader to assume that's how the fiction works. It's not even hard to do, just have a line or a paragraph that makes it clear. Maybe it could be one of the many questions the MC should have.It is a fantasy world. And in most fantasy settings, gender or how a person is built doesn't have much to do with their actual strength since all the characters are extraordinary people who have abnormal strength. The strongest of ordinary men would have a no chance even against the weakest hero or villain.
Even assuming that physics and biology are the same as real life Earth, the FMC hasn't accomplished any spectacular feats of strength so everything is fine as far as I'm concerned. It might become a problem if she suddenly overpowers bulky armored fighters with her slim one-handed sword and no armor of her own. She'll have to fight smarter and evasive, instead.
