Was there a place that sold golden apples? I used up the golden apples the game gives you already, but I wanna speck into luck for drops. Also a crossbow for Instructor.
In a endgame dungeon, MC's friend will make him golden apple for some mats that are difficult to farm in that dungeon, but easier to farm in the next one.
You can also exchange 50 panties points for a golden apple, but I don't know if every panties are worth the same or not. I just accumulated a lot of panties.
As an aside: im glad that i dont have to deal with despair when dealing with the area you are dealing with. In the previous game, there was a mob there, that would commit suicide after a turn or two, once youve ripped her clothes off. Twas a depressing experience, fighting that one and not managing to make her cum before she offed herself.
But in this game, there is a slightly infuriating girl who escapes after 5 turns unless you reduce her gauge. Still better than the suicide girl.
For people suffering from low drop rates, the yellow slime pet (the final evolution of the initial pink slime) gives you a 10% increase in drop rate, one of her skill doubles the drop rate too. Her card gives a 15% drop rate too . And the teacher's knife gives you another 10% (multiplicative).
If you pump 50 luck in your growth chart (equipment bonus doesn't count), you will get another double drop rate.
So 5% card drop rate will increase up to 27~28% drop rate per card. In theory at least.
