95% of the stuff here are KNs, you get to chose if who the MC has relations with. It's probably more than 95% tbh.

Tbh I can't help but feel a little vindicated about how this game turned out. To me the writing has been on the wall since episode three at least. I think all the good ratings and popularity stem from a time, when this thread was quite circlejerky. Back then people had their assumptions and hopes and feelings about the story and lore, because of the source material (WoD and the historical stuff), but none of that was ever reflected in the game in a coherent way.
The visiuals were outdated and lazy since the first release five years ago, every single release was buggy af, the plot was a mess of random happenings and don't get me started on the MIDI track droning on and on throughout the whole game.

this is my question too, doesn't make sense that episodes 1-4 equates to about 14g worth of space but 1-5 is 3.1g... that's some heavy compression if accurate

it isnt "heavy compression" it is just light optimization...switching from huge png-s to modes webp-s even without any compression can make wonders related to its size.

Alright, with this all in one version out, I can finally replay through the game and see the updates I was behind on. After that, I'll be able to move on from this game for good. After already playing through 4 episodes. I have to see it through to the end. No matter how bad and disappointing it's going to be.

This game set a mood perhaps like none other I have ever played. The MC's slow evolution into the vampire, his "Rebirth", as it were, was crafted skillfully through his actions and his gradual lack of remorse. Each night I played there was almost a visceral response by me to his deteriorating humanity. The person he was in the beginning would never have done the things that came so much easier by the end, and I felt it. Other vampire games, no matter how good, have never caused this reaction. The scarcity of sex scenes was never a problem because the tone of the story was just that intense.
Anyway, if this is the end of the story, I will be disappointed because there is so much story being left on the table, but I still have to say that it was a worthwhile ride.

So all in 1 version is 2.90 GB, while episode 1 alone is 3.16 GB? ...ok
Isn't a rushed sloppy ending the norm for these type of games?

Man...what a disappointing end, there are so many plot threads left in the wind, so much world-building yet we barely dip our toe in it. There are so many characters that amount to obscurity...The only thing that would make sense to me is that the dev's next game carries on the story.
