Mistranslation isn't a matter of "good enough" or "i don't care for the story". It might make you unable to progress at all because you go to the wrong direction or do the wrong thing. Funny that you brought Shakespeare when most MTL even when edited still reads like poetry. Also, if you only want to "read to get off" might as well just download a full gallery save, fap, and then play non-porn games instead.
I checked the img folder and this is unusual... only the dicks are censored and instead of the usual blocky censoring that obliterates everything they simply overlaid a few white bars over very detailed dicks with the images stored as unencrypted png files, making it very easy to paint over the bars with PhotoShop or any good paint program and decensor them yourself.
You could check e-hentai (or exhentai) for the CG gallery or
just download the CGs yourself by going into the files.
If it's truly that easy, then I'm expecting someone in like a few weeks or a month or two to do the job.
I'm terribly busy right now with work and repairs to my house, but if nobody else does it by then I'll decensor them and upload the files.
Have you tried deleting all the save files and reopening the game again?

The game already works on 1920x1080 by default, not sure what you mean by this?I tried modifying the game to work better at 1920x1080 resolution. It's really hacked together, so the zoom effects don't make much sense anymore
Just override the data folder and package.json inside the game installation with the ones in the archive file. I'll probably remake this patch once the proper translation is done. Might even take another look at the zoom effects at that point.

i believe it runs at 1280x720 by default. When running the game from Game.exe in fullscreen mode, the game just gets stretched to fit the screen.
I see, doesn't the game pixelate either way though? Or does it not ruin the quality ?
Edit: Actually it does work, that's really cool! Does seem like it messes up a lot of stuff though so I will see what I can do to fix it and apply this to my translated version
If you run the original game in fullscreen on 1080 monitor, you can see a bit of aliasing / jagged edges on the sprites. I just thought it would be a shame not to take advantage of the very large CGs (2560 x 1440) used in the game ;D Abnd I was bored.
