Well... the game could be set in 2030 for all we know. I get that putting a date of birth on a picture is an unnecessary thing to do regarding to 'the rules' that need to be abided by, but this could lead to some seriously weird situations.

Remember when the dev said the update was coming out soon? Almost two months later and still nothing.
some, if not majority of those devs, live on different planets than us simple earthlings.
time and time perception there is quite diff than on earth..."soon" here and "soon" there differ by A LOT.:WeSmart:

obviously the same goes for many other things as well, yet, to not go off topic too much :BootyTime:

Do go off topic and say the other things that devs say. I'm curious.

He posted this last year to damage control that pathetic update and once everything settled down it's business as usual.

Hello everyone,
Our last game update was a little less extensive we know that. It would have taken even longer to get everything done as there just wasn't enough time this year but Vision pushed me to upload the first half (Mostly the new Studio "Feature") early.
But don't worry! The second half is on its way very soon!
Your access to the website will remain on the same tier as it is now until the content update is available.
We are working hard behind the scenes to put the finishing touches to it. Your support means a lot to us and keeps us going.
Thank you for being so fantastic and sticking with us!
See you all later, The LeFrench Games Team
... and btw Landladies now also has access.

I'd say we're still one the "very soon" timeframe with one and a half month passed considering how fucking long the last update took. And if i were the dev i also wouldn't wanna rush it and risk releasing two underwhelming updates back-to-back so it's understandable that he decided to take extra time to make sure it's good enough to make up for that disastrous update we just got.

Judging by what he said in the past I won't hold my breath for a big update. This guy has been lying since day 1 of this game. We shouldn't make excuses for his lies.

Anyone downloading the game in 2030 is gonna be asking for GILF tag to be added too :WeSmart::WaitWhat::KEK:

Honestly when it comes to game dev, anytime within a year, falls into "soon" for me. I feel like the posters here have really unrealistic expectations for part time/small team devs.

Can't keep release dates, ok.
But lying from day 1? Have you got example?

I'm one of the bois who always likes to give the devs and 3d artists the benefit of the doubt before jumping to conclusions, cuz RL can be a real spiteful bitch sometimes, and most of them work part-time on their projects, so a slow release schedule is to be expected, but in this case, I'm not so sure how committed LeFrench is to finishing this game anymore.

Sure, the renders look pretty good and take time to be finished, but the last 'update' he released doesn't really help him back up all the promises he made these last few months he supposedly worked on the game, and I honestly don't think ppl need another ttll scamming them out of their money with small updates and a bunch of wallpapers that have nothing to do with the canonical story.

There's also the lil fact that he has another almost-abandoned project on the waiting list we shouldn't forget about, with this one soon to follow, apparently, so ppl's concerns about the dev's empty promises, lack of commitment and this game's inevitably getting the abandoned tag is perfectly reasonable, cuz, as much as I hate to admit this, it sure seems like LF is following other devs like Aorrta's and ttll's development pattern... the conclusion should be pretty simple and obvious, at this point.:cautious::unsure:

It's always the 2 year mark when everything starts to fall off.
The initial excitement of creating something many people love and can't wait to play, getting increasing support, growing your patreon with new subscribers every month, it all comes to an end eventually and it's usually 2 years into the development where everything starts to plateau and the excitement wears-off and turns into fatigue for the dev and frustration for the supporters.
If you're lucky and you managed to grow a substantial amount of subscribers in that time then you will always be called a milker, if not then there's a chance you will just dissolve and disappear but from what i've seen some will still call you a milker no matter what.

But it's hard not to symphatize with the devs sometimes, especially when a quality game like this can't even break 1k/month meanwhile a fucking brain-dead honey-select or worse game that doesn't even have any audio is steadily bringing 5 figures every month.

unrealistic expect devs be honest and stick to their own words, right?
Do you follow video game development at all outside of horny games? Shit happens, can't handle it, only buy/interact with full releases.

Also "soon" isn't a quantifiable word in English, it's vague and personally defined. A dev could quite honestly describe something as happening soon, and have you feeling chapped because you don't have the same paradigm for the usage of that word.

"Soon" shouldn't be two months long in the development of porn games. Most updates take 2-4 months depending on the length and quality.

I'm with you on sympathising with devs especially when they are not supported well and they are doing everything they can but a lot of devs abuse this trust of supporters more often than not.
