If you haven't noticed a pattern here on F95 already, the majority here screams NTR at the top of their lungs everyday like the current "modern gaming" audience. Best advice is, if you are not forcing the NTR and is not planning on focusing on it, just do your best to ignore the rest and focus on the story. You'll just burn yourself out trying to explain yourself because, believe it or not, they also screamed NTR at a lot of games that show the mom having sex with the dad even though the mom was never a love interest.
You actually dont even realize how lucky you were. Usually games that just focuses on pumping out sex scenes end up failing. But you created a game with a decent plot while providing great scenes.... until now. I really dont even get it. The MC has zero characteristics that point towards being a Cuck or any girls Main/Side having affairs. He's written as an Alpha Dom who takes what he wants. Its just all so out of pocket.
Yes, it is. Because ntr or nts or any sort of cuck content doesn't belong in a non cuck focused game. Whenever it is introduced it always ends up being a focus of the game because all those who hate it leave, and only ntr fans remain and so you will have to deliver content for your new audience, which is the ntr fans.
Just check who are the people supporting your decision, here, take this guy for example:

Yeah, a ntr fan, so he doesn't really give a fuck about you, he's just happy theres cuck content now, these are the same people that will ask and even try to bribe you into adding their kink into your game, even knowing the negative consequences it will have for you and your game that is aiming at the opposite audience, because they don't care about you, your game or the "vision" you have for your game, they only care about injecting their kink everywhere.
Your game now has the ntr tag, everyone who hates that tag will automatically think the game revolves around it and will leave without even giving it a chance, or at most will play it but don't support it, because people who hate ntr don't want to pay for it, shocking, I know.
That's why most devs let people know if such content will be there or not, and they follow through and build their audience that way. You were planning to make a game about netori and domination, right?
thats the opposite of ntr/nts, you cant have a MC that is dominant while also being a cuck, it doesn't work. Now your protagonist is inconsistent and a joke
Anyway, good luck. I didn't even get to play the game and now don't plan to obviously, but you might want to start planning more ntr content and focus on that because that's your demographics now.

i think the dev should add on the main page that the ntr content is completly avoidable if it really is, and not just "skippable" and it happens either u like it or not, like some games do... it would solve most of the problem already xd

It's already optional, so it won't solve the issue. At that point the people that are unhappy either forgive or won't.
I support mostly "vanilla" games. But cute of you to try and have a look at my profile, which is pretty limited to have a proper opinion. I still don't see how that makes anything you said next valid though, but cope harder I guess
i know but for someone like me, being a ntr hater, first thing i search when i see "ntr tag" is if it is avoidable or just skippable

Yes, I understand that developing a game requires a lot of time and effort, but adding content to the game that the developer said would not be in the game is a strong blow to trust. In the eyes of the community, you will remain an NTR developer and there will be no trust in your next games. You could have done as some other developers did and created mini-games like "what if..." or have such content launched with a separate button in the menu but not integrated into the main story. And yes, it will still take time for such content, but at least it will not be in the main story. And for some reason, many people think that those who sit on this site do not pay for games and this is a misconception because I only learn about the game here and if I like the game, I go to the resources where I can buy it. I would say that this site, in addition to piracy, gives excellent advertising to games.
Bruhh you got trolled. You'd be amazed how many harem fans just put netorare on their excluded tag list. There's now a significant proportion of people who should be your primary fan base who will literally never see your game in the latest updates page now. Take the game Dating my Daughter, after the dev added the sharing scenes in their support dropped by over half and it took literally years and another game without any of that content to build it back up. It's not even about betraying your fanbase, it's about not sabotaging your own project. There are 100% people who would've subbed to you who won't now, and there's also 100% people who will sub to you expecting more NTR and be disappointed if there isn't. You've basically just seriously damaged your own future support base over 1 single scene that you didn't even enjoy.
Your game, do what you want, but legit if I were in your shoes I'd update the thread with a revised version that doesn't have that scene in it and pretend this is all just a bad dream. You might piss off a few people but the damage coNTRol would more than make up for a few upset cuck fans.
