New ones have better lighting, though the expressions are better with the older ones.
As far as I'm aware the dev doesn't have the newest GPU, so I doupt that there will be animated scenes anytime soon. Are they gonna animate the scene?
No one knows....Dev is notorious for delaying the game. Best advice I can give you concerning this one : ignore it. It will come out when you least expect it.We getting update end of month or march???
March is starting to look like a pretty Pog month. Reincarnotica is (maybe) gonna get updated, DeLuca Family, other games as well, can't wait to spend waaay too much time playing.View attachment 1063712

Bonjour!
I hope all of you had a very lovely February. I have a confession to make, I've probably procrastinated half of this month. Around February 10, I had to take a break because my hands were hurting. Closing and opening would hurt like hell, even after soaking it in warm water or do hand exercises, it still persisted. It was also near my birthday so I had a reason to goof off.
Well... a friend told me we should play this early-access game called Valheim. It's a survival/crafting game, like all other Early-Access games there, but set in the Viking era. I thought I could play, like, 6-7 hours and go back to work, right..? NOPE! My conservative play time was around 100+ hours. It's nuts! I still have university work and finishing this update to do! So, I had to uninstall it almost a week ago because it's fucking up my schedule. The urge is still there, very much there. I promised myself to not touch it till I release this update at least. Now, with that out of the way, let's talk about...
The update. Man, I basically rewritten the whole Episode 1 scenes. Re-arranged them to serve the main story plotline. Some of it were moved much later in the game. Heck, I even redid the pixel art scenes too which also took some time. Now, there's the second issue, there's gonna be a "4.5" update, solely for Aanya.
It came up when I was writing/arranging the scenes that there were gaps. I realize this was around the time I started re-rendering the old episodes. Aanya had around 3 scene folders right now. The first event, the last event, and some event somewhere in the middle. I tried to fit the 3 scenes but the pacing will be too quick for my taste. If I had to render more scenes, this update will get much longer and I ain't doing that. The other thing is, there's supposed to be an area the MC will go to advance the plot. I just finished that a few days ago and added a cute girl attendant who knows what the MC will do in the future.
Overall, last month was very unproductive. I don't know why deadlines make me procrastinate even more. It's always the last 90% that seems the longest. I'll slap my face silly if I don't release this month. Anyways, it's the final lap, boys.
Cheers,
Polyrotix
Don't blame the cuties!I blame the adorable and distracting redheads in this.
Yeah, with animated scenes, this game would seriously become top league. The rework on some part looks great, but the character expression is already perfect so I rather keep that.
And for the sake of everyone's desire, pleaseee add animations, I cant stretch enough how amazing it'd be to able to see the characters moving
Animations + Reincarnotica = Perfection
If you want to feel the 1900s European Nostalgia, then give it a go, so far it still has little major content, but I've been at it for 2+ hours. Is it worth it to play the game at this early stage?
Is there enough content in it?
I always wanted to give this a try but i dont wanna waste my time for like 30 mins of gameplay?
The fact that the game's been out for 3 years and only got updated 3 times, is pretty sad. I don't know how big the dev team is, but things are moving at very slow pace, they keep procrastinating for some reason...Yeah, with animated scenes, this game would seriously become top league.
