Reluctant Archon is an Adult game, not a sex game, just clarifying it not giving you grief at all.
Over time sex scenes will appear as and when needed or fitting, not just to flood the game.
Its main focus is the entertainment, aka good story, and to be honest 99.9% of people seem to agree that it definately is a good story.
Some posts say its based on Lucifier or another show like it, but as the dev said a long time ago he started designing the story before he ever saw them, but he could see some similarities once he had, thats what you get when you have Magic and Myths though, heck you could say its got a little Grim, or some other thing, but its all coming from the dev not those other places.
Heck I'm writing my own novels, and I write things then see similar in other stories, movies, or games. Great minds thinking alike? Which came first... The dog or the chicken, who cares they are different species... Same with games and stories, If they are written well and not just copies, they can all entertain.
Again not intending this against anyone, its nice to hear you are enjoying the story like the rest of us.
BTW your also learning some of the worlds beliefs, myths, and legends to a degree.

See? I didn't notice it right away either but before i hit the download button it made the effort to read the last few pages of the thread and tadaaaa i knew it was something extra.The changelog did not indicate VSS (or CSS per downloaded file) is a short Christmas story. I imagine that is where the confusion lies (or tells the truth).
How odd it is to see that someone does the same thing I do.
Since I bought a new 6TB HD, I have been saving the downloaded zip files of everything, including any IP's or mods. I also keep only the latest version of the game (unzipped) in it's own folder, just in case.
You really need to leave that Ctrl or Tab key alone. You may miss something important.

It fixes a coding error and some missing images I think. It has been some time since I looked over the script and checked for errors , but the original download still has the errors
Just stumble upon this little gem a few days ago, and by all gods, I'm enjoying it. Story wise is very impressive and the content is very much appealing.

is there anyone working on the next chapter? or do they work only on side storys?? because it took a longer time and i was happy there would be a new part but instead this was only a look in the past...it would be sad when there is nobody workin on the next parts of the main VN

If you readback several pages you will find the reason he was away from development, and that his plans were to release the background to the MCs relationship to Nessa, that is what is happening now, the requested and promised short story about her and as we can see, some of Sammy and the cities background.
A while back this short story was actually requested, and most people are happy about it, once its finished he will return to the main story.
If your asking if its the same or a different developer, of-course its the same Dev, has he got ideas for future main story I'd have to guess yes, is he producing the main game concurrently I doubt it, maybe writing ideas, and checking out models etc, but I hope hes focused on family and life, then the VSS, and the subsequent return to the main game after that.
If you take into account the time he was away securing his job even getting the VSS part One out by now was an amazing success.
As of now, the developer Kyois/Zivairs is working on both the main story and side stories and at his own pace. The developer's personal life matters took top priority over the visual novel's development, giving the long period between updates.

It is alright to be disappointed, I mean I was kinda sad that there was no main game update. Still tho the side stories are as good as the main, only new players wouldnt know what dev has been doing past few months. Agree "Derogatory" was too much, lets just agree the game is fucking good and wish Kyois all the best cause there is really no need to argue about who like the game more. Loving the game, if Nessa called me "puppy" think I'd instantly cum in my pants

Other asswipes complaining about long and awesome the story is and that has a lot of thought and effort put into it, FUCK YOU just go to pornhub for your 10 sec fap session. Dont like to stir up shit but this game by far one of the best written and executed on this site, just because it got a plot you complain wtf???

I really didn't, and I've replayed it a couple times... Kyois going in deep now, cant wait to see if they are related
