Exactly, and reading all that I can see that you too actually pay very close attention to the story, and thus you actually understand the story AND the backstory, motivations and everything. I love the fact that this is kind of like the movie "Lucky Number Slevin", that's starring Josh Hartnet and Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman, there's lots of plot twists and all, and if you don't pay attention, you'll have lots of "wait..what? What's going on, did I miss something?" moments, the story constantly goes forward and there's new developments, but they don't make a whole lot of sense if you haven't been paying enough attention from the beginning. And the story just pulls you toward it like gravity, wanting for more, at least that's how I feel about it, haha. Great story, beautiful renders and models, absolutely an awesome VN that would deserve a hell of a lot more support and fans that it has

Will probably get this post deleted as this is not really related to the game, but here goes... can you or anyone reading this send me a private message explaining how to become someone's patreon ? I already went to the site itself but had trouble understanding it...Do I make a patreon profile for myself before I can give some pledges to other people, or can that part be skipped ? Also do I have to setup a paypal account and register it to patreon to pledge to someone, or can it come straight out of bank account, and if both methods are available which is safer to do ?

I recently started earning a bit more money and am ready to start pledging to people making good games (non-ntr stuff obviously LOL). As well as pledging to people who even if currently arent making games I like, I have downloaded and played tons of completed games from them...

Good game, i was worried about chapters 1 and 2, because of the scenes that were very exaggerated and full of clichés like every girl has seen the MC and say things like "i'm just seen him and now i'm already wet", so i thought i was reading a cheap porn script, but in the chapters 3 and 4 the script gains improvements, it explains and reveals the why the exaggerated scenes(they could be smoothed through the dialogues or avoiding actions like 18 years old girl sitting or falling with legs open and showing her panty) and give a serious tone like the final scene(man, poor Francine). Resuming, the script is very weak at the beginning and it gains improvements at final(this update). The renders are good and the majority the sex scenes fits with the narrative. I hope the script improve much more and i wish good luck with the project Dev.

New game by a dev with limited presence. So many games get abandoned people aren't jumping on new games to back them anymore. Shit devs have ruined it for others but, and I can only speak for myself and people I know, now I won't back anyone unless they already have completed games or the game i'm interested in is nearly finished.

Sick of wasting money on devs that can't finish a project. I know Patreon isn't about buying a game but I do expect a dev to finish what they start. Out of all the games we see pop up very few will ever be finished.

I don't pre order normal games or buy early access either. Simply put, until I know i'm getting a full game I won't part with any money I work my little ass off for.

See this is exactly it, the main criticism that got brought up for that game, you know what the posters there said ? I'm sure you can imagine how defensive they got... I am sure you can also guess which word they conveniently forgot about *hint* "avoidable"...

The fact that the dev didnt take it like Mrknobbs did here and instead said "thats the main fetish I like, so if you dont like it sprinkled even in the pure path, this game aint for you". Now thats a nice thing for the dev to say rather than string you along, but then his "genre tag" shouldn't give you false hope, call it what it is...

Anyway I like this game since the story premise isnt "the MC is super strong and good at everything because **** you, that why "... there literally is a backstory, and DRIVE !!! People dont have to like it but they should damn well acknowledge that such a traumatic event CAN SHAPE someone's live and motivate them immensely !!

What happened to Jensen was tragic as all hell, how someone can sit there and say "so he's amazing because he was sad his GF died in highschool" is straight up disrespectful as all hell... Not only was she raped while he was powerless to stop said atrocious act, but when someone else did manage to call for help and scare them off, she was brutally murdered !! How the hell that doesnt drive someone to work out everyday, get some ridiculous amounts of training as he said "to make sure it never happens to anyone again as long as he can be there to protect them". Add to that he isnt alone, he has a mercenary group running a "protection agency" people that are professionals at what they do, of course he is going to be able to find where bad guys, and stop them before they get their way...

Unfortunately the dev for Because i Love Her has stated that he is going to go back and remove the love path and make it pure NTR. Something i'm not to happy about but it's his game and he can do what he wants. As for this game, i know that Mr Knobb is not interested in NTR at all so im guessing there wont be any in this game. I think some people are hating because Jensen is almost a super man yet he isn't molesting women every chance he gets, something which i think a lot of people would do if they were given his power. He's a kind, humble guy who has all these women coming on to him and he's a bit confused about it but doesn't say no (who would say no to hot chicks wanting to fuck you?). I think its great to have a power fantasy where you have the resources to protect the people you care about and get lots of sex without having to blackmale or rape anyone (like in many adult VNs). I'm sure everyone has had those moments in life where they wish they could have kept someone they care about from being harmed in some way.

Anyways I just finished chapter 4 !! It was pretty good, not my favorite chapter to be honest, but still very good !! Holy crap at the cliffhanger, that got dark quick... and what seemed like a story about stopping shady rich people quickly turned into something more similar to "Ethan's Legacy" with enhanced people about to come into conflict...

Am I a horrible man for choosing Victoria over Nicky every time ?

Also Rena made me want to punch her in her cameo, it got a bit better thanks to her still being with the douche rather than Liam... (this might sound dumb, but at least with the douche I have hopes she will eventually dump his stupid ass, unliek with Liam who if she was seen with might have meant endgame which I dont want). Awesome to see the other cast also cameo this time, Megan I didnt recognize at first due to new look (stopped at ch 4 of that game). Liam being awesome as hell continuing his bucket list on his path to hopefully death... you will be missed sweet prince !!

I have to agree with this poster as well, I might make an exemption for 2 or 3 guys (mrknobbs might be one), but I prefer to back people who already have at least one or two games under their belt, it gives me a sense of security... For example I will once someone helps me with the patreon question have no qualms about backing both ICSTOR and ICCreations right away.

I understand your point and me too often put my hopes in bad devs who disappear after 3/4 updates, this site is full of abandoned games or on hold but if everybody wait for a nearly complete game for pledge in a year or 2 we probably will have no more than a few devs. Personally I prefer pledge a dev who is growing (yes, with some risk) instead of dev who already gain a lot of money (they for sure deserve a pledge but I am sure they have already the support needed). I never pledge a game with 40 bucks or more for your reasons too, I prefer pledge 8 games with 5 instead, less delusion when things go bad. This is just my point of view but in the end people do what they want with their money.

Just played ep 4 and it left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I mean, what's with the dark episode endings? You have the player nursing a semi all the way through the episode and then decide to end it with a boner killing scene, for fuck's sake. Please don't copy Acting Lessons in this. Make sexy cliffhangers, not dark.

Up until that last scene it was really nice. I found Nicky's makeover a bit extreme and frankly I find Victoria to be more interesting. And their paths were almost identical, except for the renders. The plot moves forward and seems interesting and I can't help think about Captain America. I'll call the MC Steve Rogers next time I play.
