I don't want to sound like an ass or that I don't agree with you at all, at least in this case... but some people can get triggered to the "mention" of "rape" whether we see it or is just mentioned in the text of the game doesn't matter, we don't know what shit anyone has been in and sometimes its better to stay clear of certain things.
I personally don't like rape in games and I admit in this game I did not really mind it because that was supposed to be for valid reasons story-wise, though when it comes to such things the line of "valid reasons" story-wise or not is very very very thin.

I don't comdend rape at all no one should have to go through that. This is an adult vn and it will have things people don't like such as rape ntr etc... should the dev remove it just because some people find it of putting i not trying to bash people kinks . I Don't like ntr as long as its avoidable i don't care. I don't go yelling at the devs to remove it. this is the devs story we just along 4 the ride. if the dev keeps remove something you don't like then dev will stop making the vn then everybody losses then

I dont think for something so minor as that text they will stop, people love this game (me included). I dunno the reasons to remove that (it may have been changed so all people enjoy more the game). You guys talk like this is something new, this not only happen in vns, there is a lot of movies, games and books that changes things and even remove content.

I don't know if I would call people weak minded because they don't like when a story has rape, even if it's just as a backstory. We all look for different things in these games, and some people use these games as a form of escapism. So I get why people wouldn't want that stuff in the games they play. I personally am not a fan of that stuff either. That being said I also understant why Spfjolietjake and other people would be concerned with the dev changing the character's backstory. Yes the dev needs the support of people to be able to continue making the game, but there has to be a balance between what people don't like/want in the game and the vision the dev has for his game. Changing the story every time someone has a problem with it, in my opinion, it's not a good path to take.

I just wish we had seen them getting to know each other over a longer period skipping time, Then we could simply have had 1 or 2 renders of them getting quick coffee, a 1-2 line reference to a meal date..... Then by the time that we actually get the rape revelation it is because she has grown to trust the MC and maybe have feelings for him.

Would have taken the same amount of pages and renders that we actually got so would nt have delayed release o the game in real life. But a bit more believable than simply telling the MC on first date!!

I don't think it is unusual for a rape victim to confess to her partner or potential partner of what happened to her, been there, done that.
Anyway, I doubt the problem here is the believability of the situation, I think the problem here is how some people hate when something like that happened to their potential waifu.

The fact that she just blurted it out on the first date is what I found so jarring and unrealistic, and why I disliked it.

A VN can easily incorporate time jumps of a few days between scenes. Scenes that are unrealistic on the second day that met a character might be far more realistic if it is apparent that it is a few weeks or even months later. Can still take the same amount of pages to tell that story, so that developers can release the same number of updates in real life, but works far better as a story.

Then again if you are someone that wants a scene the first time the characters meet, and that the LI motivation is just the MC's big dick, then go ahead, because nothing I say will make you change your mind.

I understand your point, and get why it threw you (you weren't alone in that). We see it differently and that is cool.

As a former avid reader I got used to the televisionation of novels, novellas and even short stories to not include time jumps, combine characters and alter details. So when I joined the world of vns this stuff never took me out of stories. I do get it though

just revisited this game after it's initial release. it turns out to be some sort of great game! really loved it!

how often does the dev update this game tho? do you guys have any ideas when will we be expecting the next update?
