I would assume it's because the theory predicates on Jenny not dying but going back further in time and being Darci's grandmother and Darci's mom being her daughter, thus making her the MC's cousin.

The theory is pretty harsh if you look at it too close. In the tree above, Jenny would be Isabelle, Darci would be Idril and Asha is her mom ... it also begs the question of how Darci came to be if her mom was traumatized a couple years before she would have been born. What paragon of sainthood could have drawn the woman out of whatever shell she'd enclosed herself in? Or did something else happen to further damage her psyche and bring about the future hellcat?
As I've written in this thread before, there's one thing that I think is significant. The girl on the 1999 missing person poster and the woman you catch a glimpse of in Darci's house in 2019 look very different. Maybe that's what twenty years of living in a basement does to a woman, but I think we will learn they are two different people.
On android, the game crashes when clicking on the phone if the walkthrough mod is installed. Works fine otherwise

I downloaded and started playing less than a week ago, and I didn't read the background in that earlier shot, but it became very obvious later.
I don't pay as much attention to blurry details in games without donuts and Easter eggs.

Hey guys!
I just wanted to make a quick post letting everyone know that the surgery went fine, and I started working on the update again this past week. I'm starting easy and still have days I don't feel good, but I'm slowly feeling better and better.
I've been finishing the animations on the scene I'm working on, and I have one more scene and a short ending. I'm already at 121 animations and over 1276 images. This is a big update, and I couldn't fit everything I wanted to, but those scenes I couldn't fit will go into the next update. This update is already big enough, and you guys have been waiting. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer.
I want to thank everyone for the kind words here and in discord. I appreciate it a lot!
