I agree with almost everything you said but, this is not just a piracy site. If you take a look at the threads, a lot of them where made by the devs themself, this is free advertisement.

I started playing this and forgot it didn't have the [Completed] tag. Got to the end of each chapter more and more excited to find out what happens, and then: "Thanks for playing"

I understand it is a piracy site, and that's why I mentioned it, and said it is my way to be. That's why I gave an example of games I downloaded as a kid, and still ended buying due the hours of fun they gave me. Others or I don't believe it's worth price or fun, it's my way to be.
I don't expect others to act the same way, although it would be nice due the reasons I mentioned above. Same way it would be nice for all devs to be hardworking, but in the end we know some unfortunely only milk patrons.

Start the game and press Shift + G, then set it to 30 fps then quit and reopen it, it should help a little I did it and now my potato older Mac suffer a little bit less.

It's pretty bad for me. I tried changing the frame rate, but it didn't really help much. The Riley scene got especially bogged down.
