Till v0.6 used to exist a standalone incest patch, since 0.7 the only way to have incest is through multi-mod, but the patch was still on the op and would break the game when the 0.7 content started so it was obsolete and someone (rightly) asked for it to be removed.

Yep it was our friend Maccabbee that just like me was tired of members complaining about the fact that the incest patch break their games or kept asking for it to be updated . We were also hoping it lessen the incest debate but it didn't work that well

The extremist types that are leading the charge to take this stuff down chose Patreon creators as some of their first targets. Steam getting pressure from them is only a very recent development.

So yeah, those types absolutely do take notice of popular adult games on Patreon and have put enough pressure on the site to have many removed already.

If jestur really wants the incest debate to finally end, he is going to have to make some changes to the early game. It's not even about tiffany, the whole plot was developed to be incest from the beginning, and it shows. The MC has a lot of friends and acquaintances who are all the same age, all of them having only their mothers and not a single clue about their fathers, and then the MC travels back in time and gets to know every single one of their mothers at a young age, all of them single and messing around with the MC. So what's more logical?

1. The MC being the father of all of his friends, that he got all of the moms pregnant in the past while messing around with them and then disappeared since he stopped going back in time.

2. After MC disappeared from the past, they all found boyfriends at the same time, got pregnant the same year, and all their husbands either left or died.

Can you all see where the problem is? , jestur now has to work around a massive plot hole left by the removal of the incest, so even if you don't play with the mod, you are going to feel like something doesn't add up the more you play, so the debate will continue on and on with people asking about the mod, the tags, which one is canon, and so on.

There is one solution, but I think it would displease everyone: Jestur could make it so all of them did get pregnant from the same guy, just not the MC, so someone else got the harem in the past. Although this one would backfire if there are plans for threesomes with the present girls because now it would be incest again.

Not saying you're wrong here, but since this isn't a kinetic novel and you can avoid all the girls (I think) there would always be another father for the girls you avoided fucking in the past. With this in mind not seeing how is this a problem, the solution was always there, just the avoiding fucking the girls in the past becomes the cannon plot even if you fucked them all

I don't think Jestur cares what we debate on this forum at all.

This is only an issue for people that can't look at the ages and do math. Most of the girls in '19 are too young to have been fathered by the MC in '99. And the one that actually is in that window, Skylar, we didn't have sex with her mother then and probably won't in '99 judging by how the last episode ended. So no, it's really not a problem and kind of hilarious it's an ongoing debate here at all. Let alone a "massive plot hole".

Or, you know, different fathers that either didn't stick around, divorced or ended up in jail like Skylars dad. Single mothers aren't exactly rare these days. A single guy impregnating them all is far more unbelievable than the mothers hooking up with different guys 1-2 years after MC disappears from '99.

I honestly don't really give a shit whether their dads are ever introduced or explained in game. It doesn't matter to the story, unless Jestur wants it to become relevant for some reason, and it doesn't affect the MCs current relationships with the women.

Well, I'll admit when I'm wrong; the ages could still fit since we don't know when the MC stops going to the past, but I didn't think about the fact that you can avoid the girls. It just completely skipped my mind. I mean, why would I do that when all the characters are great and I'm playing an AVN?

This is a you and some others problem, I don't see any massive plot hole left by the incest removal, I played both versions and don't see any plot holes besides those that are usually inherent to any time travel story, it is in the core of time travel some inconsistencies and paradoxes. Not because they are blood related or not.

And please stop with the canon thing, the canon can be decided at any point the developer wants, if they want to change the canon story in the last update and that completes the game, then that is the canon story, that is their complete vision of their creation.

People forget this are games under development, they are not finished games and are under of any possible changes any time they feel it is needed or that envision better what they want to be told and played. It is their creation, not ours.

Edit : On the rest of your post I just think you overthink this too much, you put too much logic on what is fiction and specially sci-fi (and many AVNs simply put some "porn" (il)logic in it to make it work), usually when we overthink it is when we start nitpicking everything and not enjoying works of fiction. It is the writer that decides those things as unplausible or illogical it can seem. I prefer to focus on the general story and not why they got pregnant at similar times or not. Better look at the forest than to some "burnt" trees in the middle of it.

Finally something I can really agree on. Edit : But it is lightly serious with fun and funny moments. It is not to take it overly seriously. I rarely do on sci-fi, except some hard sci-fi like The Expanse or Battlestar Galactica and even those have a few rare inconsistencies but they rely more on "realism".

Ripples is not that hard to classify, it is a Sci-fi Time travel genre story with a young adult student protagonist and that have some adult and sex content in it but the A on the VN is not the main strength. It is still good in that department, specially the great care on polishing it visually on pos production.

For me that is the main strength, the overall story and visual greatness, the renders, the animations in general and even outside of the lewd scenes the little and longer animations, some that just are well done few renders in sequence that make it seem an animation, there are lots of them and make the game more alive.
eg: When the MC throws stones to the time travel machine, it made me smile from its simplicity and the detail of the stones on the ground near him are less each time he throws one and they appear on the ground near the machine shows the attention to detail.

So yeah it is on my Tier S favorite games because I tried it for the "porn" but come back for the story and visual wonder on HS1 like no other in that illusion graphic engine.

**Special Instructions:**

Install apk.
Grant storage permissions on first run!
On first run you will get a prompt to copy the archive.rpa file to documents/Wills747/rip.ples/game folder.
(game will quit now)
Copy the archive.rpa file to the directory indicated in game.
Restart the game.
Keep in mind if your default install location is an actual SD card and slow speed this may slow the launch.

Also, keep archive.rpa. I'll use it for future updates to minimise the apk size.

Dunno? Learn how to make one and build one without the patch? Just kidding, maybe search the forum, there must be threads on this site to request android ports or maybe you can also make a thread requesting it on the correct forum and not sure what it would be, not really sure because never searched about it because I never play AVNs on a phone and never will. Also maybe you can DM the member that made the exisiting android ports and request if they can make an android multimod port without the patch, there is a vanilla version of the mod.

Edit: ...and then I get to asking myself, why? I think the answer is a combination of her feelings for MC and her personality--yeah, she's got the looks, but so does everyone else. But Jenny's in love with MC, and I think she's the only one (and definitely the only one in 1999) who is. When you combine that with her very caring nature (mentioned a few times at the party), and her warm way of expressing it, that's really hard to resist. Dude, stay in 1999 and marry that girl. Funny, I think one of the songs at the party was saying just that.
