Yeah, I hadn't gotten that one at the time of writing. Most ranged weapons will still drain you under continuous fire though, and I somewhat suspect the "half BP consumption" perk doesn't actually work.Divine Blade Hermes (I think that's its name, I just know it has Hermes in the name and it's a dagger) is actually the best weapon for BP Regen (Doubled BP Regen), plus offers a movement bonus as well when fully upgraded. Able to regen from 0 BP to the full 120 in about 5 seconds.
That or my Kazakiri is even more bugged than it seems. I currently have 2 of those in my inventory because a drop didn't combine properly and when I up one to +10 and go to the training area the other item vanishes. The +10 perk also shifts randomly between half BP consumption and piercing arrows (which don't work either).
Overall I'm quite disappointed with the ranged weapons, very few differences or special perks (not even a boomerang ), two of the magic guns have identical stats and deal less damage than swords despite supposedly being able to level mountains according to the lore fluff and the coolest one I've found so far looks absolutely crap due to the stats it displays (the Explosive Blade actually deals over 100 damage with its explosion at +10!)
Still missing an MP regen option too, HP regen is crazy overpowered as-is but I'd like to actually use all those spells I've unlocked for once.
I believe there is one exception. The man trying to drug you at the guild tavern did not unlock his scene for me even though I got the true ending. Or is there some weird trick to that one? It's possible to get all H Scenes unlocked without losing to enemies or bosses.
