Elliot Rodger looked like a useless betacuck scrawny loser who would never ever intimidate a puppy... Result: 6 deaths and 14 wounded. Don't judge a book by its cover.
Simple fact. Someone stronger, who gives the impression of having experience of fighting, is more likely to be able to kick the shit out of you, than a wimpy, wet-paper bag guy.
Who would you expect to win if you had to get into the boxing ring with Mike Tyson or Woody Allen?
I think Tyson's flooring me.
Allen? Yeah, I'm putting him down.
When it comes to physical capability, you can be quite confident in judging a book by its cover.
Barring the odd exception, big guy is stronger than little guy. Little guy is faster/more agile than big guy.
For the case in hand, junkies, most are malnourished. Malnourished people can't physically absorb as much power from a punch or kick.
Being a serial killer/murderer is a little different.
Anyone can kill anyone else. Physical size or prowess doesn't necessarily prevent death.
Particularly when, as in the case of Elliot Rodger, using a gun, or a car.
Him being a beta cuck, doesn't mean he can't mow down a bunch of guys and girls.
Neither does that make him a badass that you wouldn't fuck with.
It just makes him someone who got fucked with, too much.
And if you throw a dollar on the floor to make them fight each other means that yourself are scared and shit your pants seeing them going for you. Giving them money to be spared... From my point of view anyway.
It's an example, of the fact that the junkies he claimed would attack & stab us for money, are just as likely to attack each other if I threw a single dollar on the floor.
If you prefer to spend your time kicking the crap out of a bunch of malnourished, dirty junkies, feel free.
A dollar is practically worthless, to me. I'm happy to throw a dollar on the floor to avoid the bother.
Ergo it's an easy situation to resolve, without any expenditure of value & without getting stabbed.
It has nothing to do with fear, it was simply a less time consuming alternative to fighting them.
Not that junkies roam around in armed groups, anyway.
Hence me explaining that this is more appropriate a description for gang members, rather than junkies.
Gang members would not care if you threw a dollar on the floor.
Junkies would.
You see? It's an example of the difference.
