Personally not hung up on the existence of incest or not. I was simply answering the question. I use the patch because there is clearly a family dynamic in the story and seeing "but i can't kiss him he is my friend" is fucking infuriating.

why is the dev not updating itch.io? It says the last public version is 0.3 and the last patreon version is 0.5

same here. if you want to make incest optional than make it actually optional. that means provide actual non incest alternative dialog that makes sense.

he is reporting a serious bug explicitly as instructed to by the game when it caught the exception.
Be thankful he even bothered to in the first place.
expecting a random user without programming knowledge to dissect the debug data and then compare it to other reported bugs to see if maybe it is a duplicate, and then not report it if he thinks it is a duplicate... that is stupid.
The dev can take all the various crash reports and determine duplicates themselves.
anyways. in this particular case it is a common bug and there is a hotfix.
I am currently uploading a release with the hotfix already integrated into it.
I will post a link as soon as it is done uploading. (might be a while)

Thank you for fixing it. And if you looked, you would see that I and others have sent people to the OP multiple times over the last couple of days, so no, I will not stop suggesting that people learn to fend for themselves when possible. Had people Searched, or read the last 2 pages they could have found it and fixed it on their own... So - Thanks again for the fix, and have a very peaceful weekend.

I am not the one who made the fix.
I am just a rando online who is uploading a pre-patched version for people's convenience.
I did look. I stand by what I said
You need a reason to search, as well as knowing what to search for.
It is unreasonable to expect non programmers to dissect a crash log and from it extract key words to search for.
unreasonable and redundant.
they are doing the most reasonable thing of taking the time and effort to copy past the crash log. post it. and then go away and wait for an update notification that signals that a new version of the game was released. which hopefully fixes the crash bug.
There is absolutely no justification for them to start doing all you are suggesting.

That's the thing though - I don't know about this game in particular, but most of the time, the devs DON'T want to make it optional, they're forced to by Patreon (who in turn are being forced by payment processors, who in turn are being forced by governments). So they make the unpatched version sound utterly stupid on purpose to make it clear that the game is intended to be played with the patch they distribute anonymously through unofficial channels.

Considering the plot. it seems like it should be blatantly clear that the red ones are the same girls in the other universe...
Except, I jumpted to the other universe. developed relationship with venessa, daisy, and olivia from that universe. then jumped back to home universe. and yet those 3 alt versions still do not show up. very weird.

Scrappy is one of the best modders. So it's worth waiting for the full release instead of the Beta.

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.
