SuperWriter What a super sexy and fulfilling relationship the MC has with Irene. It was very enjoyable to play through.

When I first started with this game...I got the mega bitch vibe from irene but about half way through that changed. Not only is she a total bombshell but she turned out to be a decent person. I was kinda surprised. Although I imagine that changes depending on your choices obviously.

Anyhow, just finished the update and given that it was all Irene I was skeptical but I gotta say what an update! I, like MC am definitely falling for her! (Nora is still the Queen tho)
I am liking the game so far but the Irene turn around is giving me whiplash.
I'm not talking about her going from cold bitch to warm and motherly
I'm talking about going from warm and motherly to "your my man now."
Like, that progression happened so fast I thought I had Guile from streetfighter up in here with that "SONIC BOOM!"
I understand Irene just had a traumatic event, but there needs to be more pacing for this to be even remotely believable.
Give them some time to express that motherly affection before it jumps to "make me your woman."
And yes, I realize I'm arguing against a sex scene but only because I feel the quality of the dev's writing in every other aspect is so much better then this, it feels rushed.
Just MHO though.

Not everything needs to be a slow burn or developed one step at a time. My games are more on the realistic side, so I like to have unpredictable events, just like life.
I have a friend who met a girl and got married a week later. Sometimes love just happens. It does not need to be carefully planned out. That's my opinion anyway lol

Not really lol. I have 3 current games.
1) Picture Perfect 0.11 (out a year+)
2) Secret Summer 0.6 (out a year+, was on hold)
3) Sun Breed 0.1
Sun Breed is my newest game. And Picture Perfect is in the final stages with three more updates left. I will replace it with another game once it is done.

Yeah, that's the only one on hold. Not exactly sure which way I want to go for it yet
Yup, I started playing the update just at the Nora shower scene (as that's where I left off). As I progressed, I loved it the Coral section, date with Nora, all of it was great.
The Irene party section was the last little bit, so when it got to the hotel room things seemed to go from 4 to 11 with her. It just felt a little forced there at the end there, as she went from "I want to be a mother figure to you" to "My husband is probably cheating on me, he cares more for his business then me.. well fine then, I had one good day with his kid so I'll fuck him and make him my man then!"

I just figured this section could of done with at least a little bit more time to breathe, especially since until then, Irene was MC's bitchy, cold, and emotionally withdrawn step-mom with nearly no interactions with MC. With the mom and sisters I can equate years of buildup to what we are seeing now, with Irene it just comes out of left field. And I've played your other games, they are stellar, I honestly wouldn't bother with this critique if I didn't already know you for being a good writer.
But those are my thoughts, feel free to use 'em or toss 'em as needed.

Ah, so you liked the previous updates, not this one. That's what was confusing lol.
But like I said, sometimes things move fast, yes, and a lot of people seemed to really like this update. Hopefully you'll like the content with her in the future.
But Coral and Leanne next up for now!

Apologize in advance if someone has already brought this up, but Leanne really should be named Chris Craft. Either that lake is composed of jello that's been set and chilled, or else she's really a fiberglass boat with nothing but air on the inside.
