So, according to the dev, if you don't want to watch a sex scene that doesn't involve the MC, not just as a participant, but not even as a viewer and adds absolutely nothing to the story, you must have a "broken mentality". That's what the actual "warning" in the game says if you use his mod!

About the game, checking the hints on the phone takes a lot more steps than it should, so it's getting annoying fast. I get that coding a phone in Ren'Py is not as easy as it looks and you want to show it off, but the whole point of the hint system is to make the game easier to play. Finding the secrets and the parallel universe scene was just tedious af. I gave up after spending almost 10' to find one them and just used the console for the rest. The rest of the gameplay is your usual sandbox experience... Click on the door/stairs/arrow, to go to a specific location (in one occasion at a specific time) and see a scene play out, with no further interaction needed. I don't know if it will actually be important in the future, but as of right now, it's only real use is to be able to search for and view the secrets and gain some money playing minigames.
I'm personally not fond of the pervy 12 year old looking MCs, and so far the story is in very early stages, so it's pretty basic (except for the father's occupation), but I could see this getting really interesting if the future. If the dev had a better mentality towards criticism, that is...
*Edit: As of 3/10/2021 and v0.1.1, the "broken mentality" warning was changed to "The next scene involves Jenny and Dad's sexual relationship. But if you want, I can think of something to prevent that." and that scene is now avoidable instead of skippable. The hint system is also a bit more "user friendly". You still have to access it through the phone, but you can now close it instantly by right-clicking.

some people are very sensitive to criticism and advice...
and that is fine if you're a player/viewer but when you're representing a product , in this case being the dev, yea ..not really the best attitude, only thing that attitude does is push away players, potential patrons/subscribers whatever you want
but you know ..keep up the amazing work of insulting your possible fanbase, it's gonna do wonders
The game at the moment...almost stands out for nothing ...well except the attitude of the dev.
Will follow to see what changes and how everything will make sense in the future cause if I remember correctly that's what the dev promised, everything will make a lot of sense in the future and it will be worth it...kinda of strong statement but we shall see.

Hey guys. This scene is totally there just to show how happy mom and dad are... If you dont want to watch it you just have broken mentality. Theres certainly no ntr in planned tags and this is will be a harem game.
And by the way there will be patreon poll based alternate universe events in future which might have content where characters are getting railed by hobos or something. But don't worry its totally optional and non-canon. Also alternate universe version of characters you love probably dont even count as love interests so I totally didnt lie about no ntr.

I love Power Vacuum (the first game I started to support on Patreon with Now and Then if memory serves ^^) and it actually gives you two options: turn off NTR completely (at the start of the game or in your room at any given time) or avoid it through your choices. I find the second option a lot better. It's more satisfying to fight off the evil grandpa by yourself instead of having the game doing it for you!
And more generally, I find it better to clearly avoid something thanks to your choices instead of swiping it under the rug by removing those choices (sometimes, it can feel more like censorship since you are not even sure what's happening behind the scenes anymore ^^).About the first part, you can easily show how happy they are through dialogues, smiles, cuddles, kisses.... Sex is totally unnecessary (at least, I'm usually able to tell when couples are happy or not without stalking them and checking if they have a healthy sex life
).And the second part is insulting. Try to keep your cool even if it's probably not easy facing critiques after putting yourself out there. Personally, I don't like those scenes that involve LI early in the games because they tend to kill the anticipation (I would feel the same about a dream scene or something). I find it a lot more enjoyable when the first sex scene involves the MC in a more meaningful way so we can actually feel something instead of just be like "yeah, nice render".
Anyway, I understand the temptation of putting adult content in a first release (but wish devs wouldn't succumb to it if it's just there to fill some kind of naughty quota) to show what you are capable of but it's always nice to give the player an option to avoid this kind of stuff. Most of the time, it's fairly easy to implement (it doesn't alter your vision and is probably easier to deal with than the backslash...^^), here are a few examples: a future LI is about to have sex with her soon-to-be ex-boyfriend, you could give an option to interrupt her somehow. The MC is about to sleep and dream of kinky stuff, you could give the MC an option to take a sleeping pill so he can sleep more soundly. The MC finds an old sex-tape of a future LI, you could give the option to burn it instead of watching it
Where do you see it in the code? All I'm seeing are rpa and rpyc files after using unren, but I don't know how to read them. I can deal with rpy files, but not rpa and rpyc (I'm just planning to temporarily change "Jenny" to mom in the scripts, as I often do, but I can't see where to replace it in the code). Pls help
Finding the secret renders kinda distracted me more than it did good for the game.
And I think I spent much more time trying to find them as on the storyline itself.
And even after that I didn't find them all, just 3 renders and the alternate universe thing.

I originally made that mod for those who try to undermine the game and insult instead of criticize. So if you're not one of them, please don't be offended.
Yes, I did that scene with the idea of it being purely romantic. Actually, I didn't think there was NTR for even 1 second while doing this scene and people's reaction really shocked me. There is a project that I have worked so hard for and it's sad and frustrating that people try to undermine the game in this way even though they didn't know the actually script of the rest of the game. I have told you/them many times about this like "There is a script here and this is a very innocent scene. You will realize that this is not important when you see the upcoming episodes". But as it turns out, no one respected that. Now I had to answer these pointless comments when I should have started the second episode already and my head is full of these comments and I'm a little bit upset..
I'm still thinking I'm right about what I do tho. But still, cuz getting such a reaction, I will make an official patch for this( like an avoidable scene ) in future( probably with episode 2 ). Because I care about everyone's opinion although it seems not very necessary. Now please wait for the second episode and don't talk about this any more. I would appreciate if you comment on the rest of the game. Like game mechanics, renders, animations, musics etc. These are the parts where I really need feedbacks.

Don't worry about those guys, I see them in a lot of threads complaining about NTR when it's non-existant
Most understand it's not NTR, they just don't want to see it, which is their prerogative as it is the developers' to ignore them if he so chooses. Haven't seen the message because I didn't use the mod and personally don't really mind that kind of scene but that shit's insulting as fuck and I doubt the developer could elaborate at all on what about their mentality is "broken", just reads like the dude got shook.
Super minor but wasn't a fan of having to mute though the phone after turning down the volume in preferences.

The game looks interesting. A lot of fetish events are planned, which provide almost infinite possibilities for stories. That promises a lot of variety and options. I hope the developer will stick to his vision. And doesn’t let certain haters persuade him to cut this and that and let himself be pushed in only one direction.
I'm a bit disappointed with the secret cards that are hidden in the game. I could only find 1, and that was more of a coincidence by actually clicking around senseless. There are definitely some more. So, up to now those are by no means so fairly hidden that the intro suggests. It's a nightmare for collectors so far.
