Yes, I did that scene with the idea of it being purely romantic. Actually, I didn't think there was NTR for even 1 second while doing this scene and people's reaction really shocked me. But as it turns out, no one respected that. Now I had to answer these pointless comments when I should have started the second episode already and my head is full of these comments and I'm a little bit upset..

I'm still thinking I'm right about what I do tho. But still, cuz getting such a reaction, I will make an official patch for this( like an avoidable scene ) in future( probably with episode 2 ). Because I care about everyone's opinion although it seems unnecessary. Now please wait for the second episode and don't talk about this any more. I would appreciate if you comment on the rest of the game. Like game mechanics, renders, animations, musics etc. These are the parts where I really need feedbacks.

There are a lot players for whom everything is NTR, as soon as another man is sexually active in a game than the MC. Even if it's the husband of a woman who happens to be a LI of the MC. And then the hysterical flaming always begins, as if that were a great crime. Unfortunately that is a sad fact. To be fair, it is also the case that NTR is defined exactly this way in this forum. Although many people have pointed out that this is so completely wrong.

I can only advise each of you developers:
Make the games the way YOU want them to be. If you can do vanilla and harem stuff well, you should create games like this. Whoever manages cheating, sharing and real NTR (netori / netorare), or other stuff should do that too. And games that offer a wide range of fetish are now particularly in demand. The games are best when you yourself love what you create. Don't listen to haters, there are more than enough fans for everything. Don't let yourself be pushed into anything you don´t like yourself and don't let anything forbid you. There are plenty of other people who appreciate your varied inventiveness.

To please everyone, especially the hater, many good games have already been ruined. This is not the way to success.

It's doesn't have to be NTR for someone to not want to see it. Even if it wasn't an incest game and the MC hadn't already shown that kind of interest for his mom, a lot of us just don't want to see sexual content that doesn't involve the MC, others don't want to see anything he doesn't see (unless it's really important for the story progression), because it breaks their immersion, some might just not be into voyeurism (even if it's technically not that), hell, some people might just not want to see a mother figure sucking dick! Your mod tells to everyone who doesn't want to see that scene, not only those who consider it to be NTR or NTR adjacent, but everyone who just doesn't want to see it, that they have some kind of psychological issue! If I wanted to get insulted by a game I'd go and play something with a humiliation tag.

You do realise that the people using the mod are mostly those who didn't play the game before, hence didn't complain about that scene, right? Is this really the first impression you want people to have from you?

*Finally, for someone who's so adamant about not having a certain type of content in your game, you seem to keep liking a lot of comments coming from it's fans, undermining other people's opinions, just because they are kissing your ass. That definitely doesn't look promising for the rest of us, plus it should make you think why they are the ones who seemed to like that scene the most and are so keen to "defend" it, no matter the intentions you had behind creating it... They do it out of the kindness of their hearts, right?

This is a mod I made on behalf of those who didn't comment about the game in any way and only saw this scene and attacked me. Even though I've said "this scene won't really matter in later episodes". If you're not one of them, please don't be offended.

Also I mean how can people be offended when they see the MC's mom and dad's relationship? It's a natural thing. Moreover, while the MC is not have a romantic/sexual relationship with anyone in the game yet?? I guess they react like that because they haven't seen a good father figure in any game before. Man.. It's really hard to please everyone.

Anyway. I learned my lesson. This scene will be added to the game as avoidable and the mod will be removed with the second episode. If you want then you can make a clean start.

You need to realise than not liking something or not wanting to see it, doesn't mean you are offended by it and it definitely isn't a personal attack towards you. Did some people overreact? Sure, but your reaction with the "broken mentality" thing wasn't any better.

I tend to say things as I see them. I won't try to kiss your ass, hoping you'll cater my fetishes later on, like some other people do, thinking they are sly... Does that make me a dick? Maybe, but at least I'm honest. You can completely disregard my opinion about that scene, since I know you won't like it, but playing the game it felt 100% unneeded and just made me very cautious about the future content. At this point I'm pretty sure you added it just to have a (canonical) sex scene in the game and nothing more, but it still didn't sit well with me, since I saw it as a "preview" of what the game has to offer.

Do I think it's NTR? No. Did I get offended by it? Of course not. Did I like it? Hell no!

I know couples fuck, but why would I want to see that, when it has nothing to do with the MC or the story progression and this is not a voyeur game? If I wanted to see random sex scenes, I'd just watch porn.
Why did people got so riled up about it? I can't be sure, but my best guess is that, since this is pretty much your introduction of the game, it made them think you'll go with the "it's technically not NTR" trend that's going on for some time now, and that scene was just a sample of what's to come.

You need to always keep in mind that just because you know where the story is heading, that doesn't mean everyone else does too.
You said that scene "won't matter" in the future, right? Then:
1) Why adding it and making it unskippable?
2) How should people know that?
All we know after this introduction is: the MC got accepted in some fancy school and has to move to another place, he has the hots for his mom, his father is some sort of spy/agent or whatever and is probably very sick and the only (canonical) sex scene in the game didn't have anything to do with the MC, who also looks like a 12 year old wimp...

Okay friend. My second post in this thread had kind of a mocking tone so I feel like I have to explain myself in a more cordial way. If I still sound rude in this post please know that it is not my intention but rather my poor english skills.

Before mom dad scene, you gave us few opportunities to ogle and grope mother character and make us desire her. Then by showing her getting frisky with dad you kind of dangled a cherry in front of players but then had another guy enjoy it. It doesnt matter if that guy is main characters dad, Boris Johnson, Barack Obama or anyone else. Considerable amount of people will not enjoy this kind of scenario. If this type of reaction shocked you then you are somewhat out of touch with people you are trying to market your game to. Just because father is a great guy it doesnt mean everyone will enjoy watching him getting his dick wet with woman we are supposed to romance later.

Even then out of people who didnt like that scene only a minority will express their dislike on forums, the rest will just think "well the scene sucks but I will keep playing to see if it gets better" and it would be fine if not for your broken mentality message. In your mind this message meant to mock only people who talked shit about the scene in this forum thread yet in reality this kind of message insults people who didnt like the scene but decided to just give your game more time and kept playing it too. This is a very bad and unnecessary way of interacting with a community that will give you bad reputation.

This quote is also concerning. Obviously as a creator you know the way characters/story will develop in future. Thats why all game devs know that it is very very important to make effort to understand perspective of players because due to knowing the whole story developers own perspective on the events of the game will be very very different. Saying "you guys just dont know the rest of my games story" is silly, of course we dont know it but we are still gonna make conclusions based on parts currently avaiable to us. Are you proposing players not to feel anything while playing your game because their feelings might be invalidated by something we will learn in later updates? Thats stupid.

For the last time, this game will not contain NTR. At least in the main story for sure. Maybe in the additional alternate universe events if it gets a lot of requests in the patreon polls. Like I said, this scenes is not canon and you can finish the game without hearing a word about it.

Please dont say misleading words like this, it just makes you look bad. Your first sentence say "this game will not contain NTR" but your third one is saying there will be NTR if patrons vote for it. Alternate universe? Non-canon? Optional? Dude, none of this matters. If your game folder has images of women, that players like, getting railed by other dudes then your game has NTR. And since you seems like a guy who didnt engage with f95 people much I can say you one thing. The common conclusion is that if new developer gives patrons a poll to include ntr content then ntr lovers usually hijack such polls and the game is almost guaranteed to have ntr. This is a not bad thing per se but please dont ever say "this game will not contain NTR" in a situation like this.

I am sorry if you are upset by some of the messages here but at least you managed to make people talk about your game. I think its much better than empty thread/indifference.

Finding the secret renders kinda distracted me more than it did good for the game.
And I think I spent much more time trying to find them as on the storyline itself.

We don't need to argue about whether it is NTR or not. It's just a word.

That may all be right. On the other hand, there are far more players who either want to see such content very well, or at least don't mind it. Strangely enough, they don't make nearly as much a theater as you haters.

I wonder why you generally always approach with the expectation that every game has to be tailored to your taste, while others, even those of the developers, don't seem to count for you. And the patreons system is primarily designed for the vision of the developer, if you remember. In the meantime i have spoken personally to several developers. And more and more of them don't want to take part in this NTR fight anymore, but rather create the games the way they want. So you will have to get used to the fact that in the future there will be more and more games that will contain actual or supposed NTR content. This won't make the harem and vanilla titles disappear, don't worry. But the range of games will increase. it is time for you to finally accept this.

That's 100% relative, and for me, I will play an absolute shit grapic game that has 5 hours of story content over a glorious game that has one hour. It will not even come close to being "worth it" for me until it surpasses the 3 hour mark, and then it's only marginally so.

No, I've seen at least a half a dozen games with multi-hour intros, Those never get the level of criticism I gave this one, at least not for time. They occasionally get criticism for verbosity, but that's mild because in case you didn't notice, it's also a problem I have . The advantage of games that have a fairly large amount of playtime is that it usually means they start the shenanigans early, which I don't have a problem with. Plus with MC being framed with something in the window that looked an awful lot like his older self using some sort of power colored like time or dimension hopping, the least I have to worry about is unrealistic shenanigans.

This is a very good start.
I was a little unsure about the sandbox, but here it is done neatly and unobtrusively.
It looks like the game will have a good storyline, which is a huge plus for me.

The disadvantage, in my opinion, is the personality of the MC.
While playing, I started looking for the "shota" tag because the main character looks and acts like a 10-year-old.

As far as I understand, the character will change further along the plot, but I hope not only physically, but also mentally, since I'm not entirely interested in watching an adult with the behaviour of a naive child.

Last but not least, this is just a small overview. It is not necessary to change and shorten your story under the influence of something whining, including mine. You can't please everyone.
