Yup, those stairs and that statue. The stairs lead to the dorm(?) and there's a path going down there that's walled off, which I swear used to be open. I think even the area you start in changed from past versions.
Oh the path you get to the Academy are randomized i got 3 different way to go to the Academy with 1.89

Maybe you just got unlucky. RNG is a bitch. When grinding mission 8 for the costumes, I also got the same path many times in a row. SoD being as janky as it is, I would believe it if someone told me that the RNG is fucked, giving you the same result over and over, so maybe I dunno, close the game and open it up again to refresh the RNG and see if that helps lol.

I once tried out the nude mod and didn't really like it. But it might've been an old version of it. Would still prefer if one of your outfit options for your harem was them nude. Kind of like how some RPGmaker porn games let you have the characters run around naked if their corruption meter is high enough. But wasn't one of the new weapons in the DLC a squirt gun that would blast away their clothes?
I think your post was the one that notified me of the DLC's presence on Steam. So thanks. Would the patch Eroge Japan would make for the DLC apply to the game as a whole like how Kagura Games make patches for DLC apply to their games as a whole?
Do you happen to remember how you got those reverse bunny outfits? Were you able to cheese it somehow by getting them before the hidden timer ran out of time? If there is no hidden timer, then how come I'm able to get two switches in the office only to be unable to find the third switch after painstakingly retracing my steps to look for it? Either way, I hope the DLC offers an easier method of obtaining all of the costumes. Reverse Bunny included.

I heard there's actually no hidden timer, but in the end idk. I replayed it as long as it was needed and got them all. Well, restarting it from the half point to get the 3rd path is probably the most frustrating for me since I don't mind mindless zombie shooting.
Was it always like that? The academy is probably one of my least played areas so I never noticed it was randomized.
Another possibility is to just remove the RNG entirely, and make the different paths cycle in sequence, like say from 1 to 4, then back to 1, each time we play a mission.
I don't think there will be an additional R18 patch just for the DLC. You'll just have to re-apply the usual R18 patch (due to the upcoming update) and it will unlock the adult content in base game and the DLC. But that's just my assumption for now.
Yes it was like this even before the holiday update. Before entering the academy, there's a path that can lead you to the lake, another path leads to a cabin, another leads into some outdoor courts, so on. It's chosen at random once you enter the mission.
Yeah I went to sleep after I posted and just checked back now - funnily enough 5th run was the one that changed, leading me to the cabin. After I decided to give up on figuring out how to get to the statue and was just gunning for finishing up Halloween and Christmas events, good lord. I didn't even bother checking how to get the statue, just ended up caving and just grabbing a save file to nab the last costumes because I couldn't be bothered to grind out the rest of the stuff.
