they have had a lot of feedback on their patreon and Ci-En so either there is a lot more information about the non guro parts locked behind those or their actual paying fanbase are in fact fine with it and the people whining here are those who have absolutely no input in those areas so they are complaining here to have an outlet and act like their opinions are as important as the paying customers
You can buy a game after it's released. Or when you are able to confirm that it is both something that aligns with your interests and worth paying for. Or that it will not be dropped partway through development so the money you pumped into it ends up being all for nothing. Kind of like their other game that's been in the works since 2018 and is now on hiatus. It would suck be backing them for that one only for them to now just be like, "Ah, we're gonna be making this other game that was announced
after it instead now."
Also, no, it is not
either there is non-guro content that we're not seeing or the people paying for it are fine with just guro. Either of those
could be the case. However, there are more possibilities out there that are just as probable. For example: To milk more funds from a wider range of people, they're saying that they're planning to include something that they're not.
To be clear, I'm not saying the example given is
necessarily the case. Just that so far there's been zero evidence of it outside of some promises. Yet, you can find multiple examples of the guro scenes that they've made. I don't know how it's such a contested point to say that they shouldn't be saying their game is going to be something it isn't. Regardless of what people are fine with, that is a very poor and deceptive practice, if that is that case. Even if you're not the one getting taken for a ride, you can look at it and say, "Oh, that seems shitty."
Once more, if the game is released and it's there, then it's all good. It doesn't matter. They will have done they said they would and that lends them credibility towards their future projects. If it has these non-guro game over scenes and the performance issues are resolved, I look forward to buying it.
