So the "game" is not complete then. Couldn't they just...I don't know...just continue developing the game without making a 2nd project out of it?
I guess the game just stops in the middle of the story?
I don't know what it is but something bugs me everytime a developer is doing that. Especially when I read the term "seasons" for some games on here....what do you want to make.... a live service porn game?

I believe it's a way of keeping the story going but with improved coding and better lighting in scenes. They've improved their skills but didn't want to waste the time in redoing all of the existing game.So the "game" is not complete then. It's a game where you loop back all the time so it would look jarring having old and new scenes next to each other. This way they get to keep making new stuff and hopefully it's better than before.

A very much personal me problem xD
I just hate playing in updates, arcs, seasons...you name it. I like to play in my own pace and when a game is finished without having the constant thought in the back of my head when the current content has been reached. So if a dev decides to split his games in projects but catches me with the not really "completed" tag I get dissapointed.
If Sexbot "Phase 1" has a nice conclusion for the player then yes I pretty much would agree with you.
Anyway my mood is kinda sour today and wanted to rant a bit. Don't mind me.
Oh.......
You don't really get the impression that this is a timeloop game when reading the description.....yeah....I don't like timeloop, travel or multiverses storys.
My interest in playing this game just plummeted to zero xD

I actually think splitting the game into two is good. So many times we see developers redo the entire game just to "make the code better/more efficient". This game is complete, no need to spend time rehashing little things. A new game allows you to build the fundamentals from ground zero
