However, there are certain conditions that you can do to unlock the true ending on the second playthrough. Like @Centrophy said, the true ending involves parallel worlds...
In this true ending, there are 2 variations like the others: one with NTR and one without.

That's what I meant by "2019." Seriously! If an old game can do it then there's no reason why current gen engine cannot do it. It actually just comes down whether the developers have the skill to do it and/or want to spend the time to do it.
