For those curious I thought I'd summarize how the voting is going across various places I've asked:

Shemale:17
(some variant of) lesbian female:20

It's a lot closer than I expected. If I split the lesbian votes up it's neck and neck for a dominant lesbian vs a shemale with a secret submissive running a very distant third though that's not really fair as I only asked about being a secret submissive in a couple of places.

IDK,.. maybe allow Anya to be a 'switch'. She can be what she needs to be; depending on who she is with.
She Can play and explore her Dominant side (with Amber or MC), or
she can submit to her submissive side; with the "right" partner.
(It would be Cool to see Anya & MC together. Anya Dommes MC; then, next time, watch MC Domme Anya)

- The Only REAL Question will be IF Anya remains a Female; or becomes a Shemale.
Going by Anya's established personality; She already 'comes off' as 'dykey' (Dominant lesbian).
-Not sure If she doesn't like Men (or she just doesn't like Mark.), or If she Only prefers women??

Question: We kinda know/suspect Anya has the 'Hotts' for Amber,...
-What does Anya know, or feel about Lisa Patterson?
(Was Lisa ALWAYS 'in the way' when it came to Amber?)
- Now that Lisa's been missing 3 weeks; the path to Amber has Cleared. (cannot disregard Amber's feelings for Lisa.)
(just suggesting Anya may NOT Care whether Lisa Is found/returns or not ("good riddance"))

I've redone nearly all of day 1 now. I'm finishing up the priest hypno scene with all new renders and a bit of added sexiness. After that I need to do the same for the Doctor and then work on Carlo's alley.


I'd also like to redo a lot of the renders for day 2 and 3 as well to take advantage of my better lighting system and tweaked skin and eyes. I'm truly starting to wonder if 0.23 should be the remaster which would include: Redone renders, tweaks to the writing to make things fit the theme better, and a bit of new content such as new topics in the library, the ability to see Lisa's room when you visit and other things. For example, in this rework of day 1 you can pick up something like five more secrets than you could before. You can finally get a picture of Doctor Corvus if you talk in the library, etc.

The remaster of the first game day is about 95% complete. I've added new scenes, redone most of the renders. Done some rewriting, added all new renders, new secrets to find, etc.

It may be 100% but I am thinking about redoing the transgender change in the dream and expanding on it, making it a bit more horrific and detailed. Think of a movie where the main character changes into a werewolf and they watch as their body changes. The current game sort of hints at that but it happens super fast.

Anyway, as you can see, there is a bit more when you first arrive to the Bed and Breakfast. The second screenshot is a new transition scene on your first day in town when you go to Haven Park to meet Amber. There is a similar one for going to the Patterson house for the first time.

The transformation tag is so overused i really think they should start putting some information in the game description about what sort of transformation is taking place here.

"Transformation" is variously interpreted on this site as being people getting mean, getting fat, getting pregnant, becoming gay, turning into vampires, turning into furniture, turning into women, turning into men, turning into ponies, turning into aliens, becoming perverted, becoming succubus, becoming dragon... The list goes on and on...

Based on that and the limited description, i honestly have no clue what sort of transformation takes place in here.

You have option to start as a shemale, so presumably that's not the transformation?

Short of them actually defining or creating more specific tags, can anyone provide a description of the transformation content here?

I have a metered internet connection and hate to download stuff just to find out it's not what i wanted.

To put it as simply as possible, at the start of the game you have a choice to pick your gender.
If you start as female protagonist the game will carry on with various types of corruption and supernatural occurrences while you carry out your investigation.
But if you start as male protagonist you will inevitably be transformed into the opposite sex (gender-bender magical/supernatural transformation) as part of the story early on, and will have to carry on like that for the foreseeable future.
That's pretty much it.

Ranma is correct. There is a magical male to female transition if you start the game as a male. I actually reworked it (along with a lot of other stuff) in 0.23 to be a bit more thematic than it currently is. It's now a little more drawn out and feels almost like a werewolf transformation or something.

Ranma is correct. There is a magical male to female transition if you start the game as a male. I actually reworked it (along with a lot of other stuff) in 0.23 to be a bit more thematic than it currently is. It's now a little more drawn out and feels almost like a werewolf transformation or something.

Yeah, unfortunately many tags that would have made the categorization of games a lot easier have been missing for years now, even though there have been plenty of requests in the past to add many of the more egregiously missing ones to the website.
We mostly are left with some of these highly ambiguous tags that can mean a multitude of things (or sometimes used as a substitute for a tag that should exist but doesn't, so the OP tries to make the best they can with what they got) and nobody really knows what they stand for unless they take their own time to scour entire threads for information or directly inquire about it and hope that someone else will be kind enough to enlighten them on the matter, which at the end of the day, makes the whole freaking point of having the tag system pretty pointless, it's useless, it ultimately has no real value to the people trying to look for the content they enjoy.

After all this time, we still haven't gotten anything yet and it doesn't seem like there has been any progress on a solution. It's a damn shame really, and at this point I don't know if we'll ever get them, to be honest.

I've noticed the same about tags, they're pretty outmoded and lack granularity. Maybe they're seen as a simple, standard system by the admin team, but the downside is a lack of utility. Descriptions of body types are not really covered, gender is limited at best ("trap" is even a bigoted, no-fun term), etc. I am happy with many of the kink tags, though, so maybe that's where the focus has been.

The tag post in Games refers to " VNDB, E-Hentai, Google" as the sources, so I guess F95 replicates those classifications (except for Google, but I wouldn't be surprised if their surveillance algorithms classified porn like everything else for optimal targeting ).

It's down to the OP to explain things for now.

Yeah, i put a post up requesting they break up the futa / trans tag and transformation tag years ago, it was rejected, of course. Because 'muh knows best than you"... They did add a sissification tag though, so that helps break it up somewhat with all the sissy games, which previously were using the futa and transformation tags as well. At least i can exclude by sissification now... (Another feature i asked for, which was denied, but sure enough they put it in.)

I really do wish they could be a tad more specific on the transformation tag tho... People looking for breast enlargement are not the same people looking for gender bender, are not the same people looking for vampires, are not the same people looking for human furniture, are not the same people looking for furry, etc...

I figured it had been a while since I did any previews here. The waitress stuff shows the waitress version of the makeover along with a new scene where you have a chance to finally question Lou. Notice in the Amber scene that if you are playing a TG character you get a chance to try to talk to her about it. Which I think is something TG players have been craving, a bit more advancement in their plot specifically.

In my case, it's not so much the size of the release but instead the price of everything going up. I used to support 20 creators, but now I'm cutting back. When it's costing close to $200 to fill up my gas tank, that's where all my money is going these days.

That's a fairly big exaggeration unless you're just skipping through all the text. For example, in the last release you had a dream and the breakfast event. A work event. The priest and doctor content if you engage with it and one of two possible dates. Not to mention any side content you may engage in that you haven't done yet such as talking to Roy at the library. There should be roughly half an hour or so of playtime depending on what content you participated in and your reading speed.

That said, my next game won't be a sandbox like this one I don't think. I do a lot of work but people only see maybe 1/3rd to 1/4th of it depending on their choices. For example, by choosing to have four jobs instead of one job that everyone has in common, people only see 1/4th of the work I do when it comes to the jobs.

This release and the Saturday and Sunday releases will be much more story focused with a lot less emphasis on the open world stuff, especially Saturday and Sunday. As a result I suspect the releases will feel bigger even though the work for me will probably be roughly the same.
