Damn, this game is HUGE.

Honestly I'm very impressed. It took me almost 2 months to finish just one of the paths (Shared Liam into True Iris route). And there are multiple of them!

At first what seemed as "pretty standard" porn/specific fetish game turned out to be a novel, with likeable characters, very interesting history, intrigue and lots and lots of content. Hell, it came to a point where on some days I did not care about porn and just wanted more story. Kudos to you YedaGames

Now for some quick thoughts:

- Blake looked best with short red hair. Got kinda disappointed when I saw Blonde Blake near the end. Oh well;

- there were also some points where Blake was irritating to me. Like mate, go visit your neighbour Zoey and do some yoga, or visit your girlfriend Iris at school/in bookstore or call your buddy Jamal instead of sitting on that ass of yours all day. Good thing that Iris called them out on this, but still. I guess my limit was after party at Dominique and talking about legs. I know it's important for building character (and goddamn, it is one of the very few novels where MC has defined character instead of blank face), but goddamn there are so many great characters - INTERACT WITH THEM MORE!

- regarding walkthrough - it's weird seeing that to get Rebecca changing you need to acquire "bad choices" and "Rebecca disdains". They should have been named more appropriately. Also what's the difference between these two?

- is it possible to get Rebecca and Jamal back together? I had to use to "I did this for you too" line in Scene 6 Act XI to get the character change, but apparently they still broke up, which is surprising.

- Is Claude dead or not? I'm not really sure here. He gave me a room after Slums, but because I went to Slums I failed to meet only one check on Tanya's Secret Route that happens if you stay (kinda sucks, ngl), I didn't get convo with her. So I'm not really sure.

- Do Josiah and Gillian points matter at all?

- why is Reese more or less hostile to you?

- NGL I got teary eyed when I learned that Zoey and Tanya plan to move out. I like them so much.

- It's funny how you can be anti-Deliverance during most of the dialogues but once your love interests move there You are going there too;

- thank you, THANK YOU so much for unlimited save slots. 47 pages on my current playthrough...

- there are honestly much more, but I will be spending hours and hours writing them down

Chances are I won't be making any games after Shattered. This process is beyond exhausting.
Oh no, I'm devastated to hear that. While I get you, I think that you have huge talent. This game is so great that I was thinking about advertising it to some non-cis folks I know ;_;.

Also if I can have some questions to the author:

- will it be possible to get sub/dom and other "point counters" put in codex?

- who are your favourite characters?

- were there any storylines that you put in a game but several chapters later decided to abandon them? If I were to guess it would be meeting Mack again (which Forthwall told will happen) and Resistance storyline.

- in what year does the game take place?

- what's the situation of the world anyway? From what we learned Europe is mostly okay, there are other cities in the US which are more or less functioning... So why Deliverance anyway? Why not move to Philadelphia or something?

- will Blake finally learn how to call their friends first rather than wait for them to initialize the contact? ;P

- is Zoey right about Doctor?

Thank you for kind words, and questions :)

- regarding walkthrough - it's weird seeing that to get Rebecca changing you need to acquire "bad choices" and "Rebecca disdains". They should have been named more appropriately. Also what's the difference between these two?
Well, the difference between them is quite clear. Bad choices don't always involve Rebecca.
As for her changing, you'll get three more opportunities to influence her character up until v0.15 where her personality is finally settled for the rest of the game.

- is it possible to get Rebecca and Jamal back together? I had to use to "I did this for you too" line in Scene 6 Act XI to get the character change, but apparently they still broke up, which is surprising.
Yes, it should be possible, but it shouldn't affect much story-wise because Rebecca will get to Deliverance, and Jamal won't. The only thing it affects is their specific mini-routes involving Blake.

- Is Claude dead or not? I'm not really sure here. He gave me a room after Slums, but because I went to Slums I failed to meet only one check on Tanya's Secret Route that happens if you stay (kinda sucks, ngl), I didn't get convo with her. So I'm not really sure.
The answer is yes. You'll get the details on what happened to him closer to the ending.

- Do Josiah and Gillian points matter at all?
They affect their future mini-routes on which Blake will be able to dominate those two.

- why is Reese more or less hostile to you?
It depends on whether or not Blake met Reese at the gay club in the third act. Without them becoming friends Reese sees Blake as her competitor — they work at the same place, after all, and Reese can see how much Claude and Troy favour Blake.

- will it be possible to get sub/dom and other "point counters" put in codex?
I did answer this question couple of times in this thread. My reasoning against it is still the same: I don't want the flow of the story become mechanistic, and calculated. Plus, points in general become less, and less important with time.

- who are your favourite characters?
It's Blake, of course :)
But excluding him, I've got different favourite characters in terms of looks, personality, sex scenes, etc.

- were there any storylines that you put in a game but several chapters later decided to abandon them? If I were to guess it would be meeting Mack again (which Forthwall told will happen) and Resistance storyline.
Literally dozens of them. Some I deemed to be less interesting than I thought, some got voted out in polls on Patreon, and some I just forgot about. It's not always easy to keep track on everything, unfortunately.

- in what year does the game take place?
I let players figure this out, but when I was making the initial calendar (if you remember, earlier on I do mention date, and day of the week), I was following 2030. It went off the rails since then, though.

- what's the situation of the world anyway? From what we learned Europe is mostly okay, there are other cities in the US which are more or less functioning... So why Deliverance anyway? Why not move to Philadelphia or something?
You will get answers for those questions in the game later on.

- is Zoey right about Doctor?
Depends on your perspective. He genuinely wants to help people, but sometimes thinks it's necessary to completely erase his patient's personality for that.

YedaGames just got back to the game after a... Two years break? Somewhere in between the Australian wildfires/Covid start and now anyway. And I just got a question:
I've been rubbing my two brain cells together on this for far too long and I'm obviously to stupid to figure it out, but how do I start Tanya's Secrets path?

Every time I get to Doctor Lowe, I always get to the tea question and if I understand things correctly, that locks me out of getting Tanya's Secrets path (unless I struggle forward and stay at ~7-10 dom points until Dominique's party and drink until I drop).

What do I have to avoid to not get the tea question during Lowe's session?

Other than that, thanks for this amazing game. Haven't been this into a VN in a long time, erotic or not.

The «tea question» has nothing to do with Tanya's route at all :)
In fact, there's no way to avoid it. Doc will always ask Blake about it. What you have to do is when Blake meets Tanya on his way to Zoey's photostudio in the fourth scene of ninth act (she's holding a bag, you won't miss that scene), you need to press her into telling Blake where she's going, and then make her take you with her. In order to do that you need to have at least 10 dom points, not be on bimbo route, shouldn't let Tanya cheat on Zoey with Blake, and shouldn't make Tanya think that Blake is a slut (avoid acting slutty during the first photoshoot, and don't have sex with Claude in the park a bit later). Then you'll be able to start this path.

By the way, I recommend downloading the hotfix from my Mega folder if you haven't done that, because I did change certain things in relation to this specific path.

Thank you! :)

Haha, I blame my week long fight with fever and general confusion, I understood this part from the guide as "the tea question":
"After spending some time at home, Blake goes for a walk, and meets
with Tanya, who carries a suspicious bag.
You can try to press her to tell her about her business. It won’t work if
Blake was able to get to the third question during the hypnosis session
with dr. Lowe.
You also need to have at least 10 dom points, and Tanya
shouldn’t consider Blake a slut or have sex with him in the 3rd scene of
5th act.
"

Haven't tried the hypnosis path yet (don't care for bimbofication, Blake is cute as they are), so no wonder that I just kept stumbling, silly me, thought it was the first session. Thanks again! <3

Will do! ^^

Oh right, I forgot about Ambrosia scenes.

Yes, it should be possible
You know what, I decided to check it once again. In the Codex it says that they are still dating, but seeing the scene where Jamal and Blake are in music studio, the Rebecca's question to Blake if they would date Jamal and failing to get any pictures from Rebecca about that involves Jamal I assumed they are broken up.

Also went ahead and replayed the game and made Rebecca changing much earlier (after Bree first sex scene), but it all remained the same.

Just in case I'm adding save file and save upload on anonfiles from that music studio scene -

Ah, okay. Kinda hoped we could change Josiah without dominating him or something.

Honestly, haven't thought about that.

Oh yeah, I understand that. I was mostly thinking about showing the points much, much later after they are mostly non-important. There are still some checks and it would be neat to know how many points I have.

It's Blake, of course :)
But excluding him, I've got different favourite characters in terms of looks, personality, sex scenes, etc.
Duh, aside Blake, cause that's obvious. C'mon spill the beans! ;P

Oooooh, okay. Thank You for answer!

Also if I can ask a follow-up questions:

- will we get the official height chart with characters standing next to one another? I'm honestly curious after seeing several dialogues regarding how tall Tanya is.

- secret/cryptic text message you receive. Care to say something more or is it about a future content?

- seeing how dreams regarding space got somehow real (as in space-like suit that Liam wears in Deliverance) am I correctly thinking we will have robots/droids in Deliverance?

- who else aside mentioned characters have survived raid on slums?

- also are you the only one working on this game or are you actually a team of several people?

Also not a question, but I went through beginning (mostly to check that Jamal + Rebecca relationship) and I just realized that the girl in the jail at the very beginning is none other than Bree! o_O

Long term planning, I see.

I don't really understand what exactly you're talking about here, so I assume that either everything is exactly how it's supposed to be or there's an error in the code which I'll look into later, closer to the release of v0.16.
How close are we to the end anyway?
Well, v0.16 won't be the last version, and neither will be v0.17, assuming nothing will stop me from releasing those. After that, we'll see.
Ah, okay. Kinda hoped we could change Josiah without dominating him or something.
He will naturally progress through the story, but as a love interest he's entirely submissive, and Blake already can get a scene where he's making Josiah kneel. More coming.
Duh, aside Blake, cause that's obvious. C'mon spill the beans! ;P
For me as a developer technical part is the most important, and I mostly rank my characters in terms of how much harder they make the process of rendering for me. And in this regard Blake is actually the best again — rendering his sprites takes next to no time. Same goes for almost all male characters as well. At the bottom of my list are Zoey, Pepper, and Suya. Their pictures take eternity to render because of extremely detailed textures.

However, all things considered, I would probably put Suya on top of my list of personalities. She's spunky.
In terms of looks, none of the characters exactly perfect for me, but I'd say Dominique is by far the closest one to what I wanted.
And when it comes to sex scenes, I like seeing Blake with a fat dick up his ass, so there are several characters to choose from.
Could you give some examples? Which you thought weren't as interesting and which got voted out by people?
Well, since they weren't interesting, I never bothered to remember them in details. They were mostly combinations of «what if» in regards of my existing characters. «What if Suya started dating Bree?» I also had huge pre-planned storylines which got cut entirely, and it doesn't really make sense to discuss them because they had to span entire updates. But yes, there was an idea to let Oleg actually take Blake to the Resistance's base. The scenes I envisioned for that route were later re-used in the slums. I abandoned this idea because the player had almost no chance of knowing about this in advance. Basically, if Tanya/Claude couldn't save Blake, that's it. He's going to the camp with twenty extremely sexually frustrated men. So, instead I made Vanessa get Blake out of the basement.
- will we get the official height chart with characters standing next to one another? I'm honestly curious after seeing several dialogues regarding how tall Tanya is.
No, we won't because of technical reasons. However, Tanya is indeed the second tallest woman in the game (after Kushari) at about 190 centimeters. It's actually pretty floaty because her model that I use for the sprites isn't all that tall, but in the scenes I make sure to stretch her depending on who's standing next to her. Coco, and Zoey are pretty tall as well.
- secret/cryptic text message you receive. Care to say something more or is it about a future content?
Read the first letters of each line.
- seeing how dreams regarding space got somehow real (as in space-like suit that Liam wears in Deliverance) am I correctly thinking we will have robots/droids in Deliverance?
No, there won't be too much of sci-fi stuff there aside from some of the fashion choices, and even then most people would dress normally.
- who else aside mentioned characters have survived raid on slums?
Pretty much all female characters aside from Bonnie. That's it. Tafia is alive, but she won't be back.
- also are you the only one working on this game or are you actually a team of several people?
It's just me, and my Patreon supporters :)
Also not a question, but I went through beginning (mostly to check that Jamal + Rebecca relationship) and I just realized that the girl in the jail at the very beginning is none other than Bree! o_O
It wasn't long-term planning at all, because I actually inserted this scene long after Bree was introduced in the story. I was remaking the first act, and wanted to make the jail segment a little longer, so yeah, I just put Bree there. Her name is never mentioned, and Blake doesn't talk to her, so he can't remember her later, but the player should recognise her.
