So long you start the game, go Prefs and change Marys name, this will remove the errors

You can also open up script.rpy in the shygirl/game directory and put this line up there somewhere at the top (as long as it's before the 'define m = Chara..." line I am assuming) with the defines:

default mc = "Mary"
