I don't care if my LIs had done it BEFORE getting together with the MC. Rather the other way, as experienced girls are mostly better in bed then virgins. And if 2 LIs decide to play with each other that's not NTR. As they still love the MC as the man in their life. Then if the MC is there it's even better. :p

So, I love this story. The 4th wall breaking is also so funny, Angel and Mouse are so good.

And....CALLED IT! lol, knew the dev was gonna do something in response to the comments. After the NTR confusion, I had a felling this "virgin debate" would cause a response. It's why I'm a patreon of their game...well, also cuz of those thicc booties
Actually, I think it's a bad thing, a dev shouldn't budge, it's their story, not the player's. If players want it a certain way, let them write it themselves. I get so sick and tired of whiners that yell "WTF she not a virgin", "WTF Can't I not make her pregnant"... if a game don't offer that, move on gtfo outta here and find one that does... It's not like there's no choice in games.

Yeah, you’re right. This dev is new (their Patreon says they’re a team of 2), but gotta admire the amount of effort being shown. Even regular progress updates on their page. My guess is they’re trying to basically appeal to the widest possible audience. Include the stuff wanted by the majority of gamers. NTR is taboo it seems, so they crossed out anything like that to appear (won’t even have optional NTR).

They don’t seem to mind rejecting some requests tho like lactation and pregnancy. But…still feel sorry for the dev. Doesn’t come off as the “milker type”, which is why I became a Patreon.

also getting parody/satire vibes from this game cuz of Mouse and Angel lol

For me, it was the story angle and the humor that made me become a patron. They certainly aren't the milker types, I mean, they're a new duo on the scene, their first game, very communicative, and they're bending over backwards to at least get the widest possible audience. Maybe a bit too much, but then again, it's their first foray into the world of Erotic VN's, so I can understand it up to a point they want to give as many readers their kinks. But, the risk is that once folks see them give in to entitlement demands, they're going to be kept flooded with this type of 'demands'. Best is to pick a stand and stick with their view on how it's supposed to develop. The last thing they want is for this game to end up becoming one of the already many games with similar kinks. Let it stand out on its own merits, en keep the kinks to whatever they had in mind when putting this thing on the planning board. Keep the focus on the story, not on the kinks.

Afteral, look at games like Leap of Faith, Long Live the Princes, Chasing Sunsets, all the games in the Elsa-verse (Tora Productions) to name a few of the real good ones. These devs kept their games the way they envisioned for the better part, and they turned out to be some of the best games around.
I mean, LI's should only be virgins? Every LI should get knocked-up? Get real... So what if that's your kink. Go find a game that has that, don't try to force every goddamn dev into producing that type of content if it ain't in there.
Sure, you can ask if that's something that's in the pipeline, but come on, If it isn't then accept it and move on.

A good game always has a solid vision. Sure it's nice to have community involvement, but then you get these shallow games that introduce tons and tons of characters and they have no depth because they are chasing the fickle fetish people. Just have your start and finish and some milestones mapped in between, sadly the vast majority make it about 3 updates in and then start the rework/reloaded/relaunch of their game, cause 'they can do a better job' and then it's months later and there is no new content and all the hype is dead for that game.

Case in point, Heavy Five... made a great start, got even better because the dev soon noticed it could be, won several awards, and is now in iteration 3... I gave up after chapter 3 in the second go around.

The quality is good, and I do love Mel and Jen, but the story so far is hit and miss, the whole what patreons want and resetting things is kind of off putting, I hope I am wrong but this feels like dev is wishy washing and just going buy what people want, and not clear on making it what he/she wants.

I feel like it's satire lol. Like...Mouse and Angel are basically devs arguing what the viewers want and their bitching causes havoc for MC lol. I think the point is to make fun of porn games in general...that's just the vibe I'm getting from it.

and holy shit...you too wonder if the devs (They say they're a team of 2 on their patreon) are women lol

The usual "make the game you want to make" dumb speech.
First of all I never asked for the story to be changed or a kink of mine to be added. I just said that this girl's background story didnt add up with the fact she wasnt a virgin. That was an opinion on how I didnt like the character not a demand for change.
The real problem I pointed out is that if she wasnt a virgin the game really shouldnt be reminding us about it everytime, SPECIALLY MID SEX SCENE, it is distasteful and off putting.
Plus, the dev even said that he made things that way (constantly telling the audience how a girl isnt a virgin) because people kept asking him if they are so.... it is not even HIS vision, it is something he changed because people were being annoying.
So all he had to do was to go back to HIS original vision and make girls dont mention their virgin status. Because thats how it normally is, the only time girls mention their virginity is to let you know they are virgins, otherwise they dont mention it at all and you assume they are not. So no one is forcing or demanding kinks here. Just suggesting how a sex scene could be more enjoyable if the girl in question didnt bring up the fact she was fucked by someone else while in mid sex scene with mc. That is a very reasonable request and it doesnt change anything in regards to kinks or even her story.

Second, it is funny that you bring up Leap of faith as an example because that dev did listen to feedback and changed his game to make it more enjoyable for his players
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
One advantage of developing a game with patreon/subscribstar is that you can gather feedback from your supporters and know how you can make the game more enjoyable from them. Thats not a negative and companies even pay thousands of dollars to get that kind of info, the whole "do the shit you want to make" is just asinine because at the end of the day you want to sell a product to earn money. So you need to think about your target audience, even the famous writers and other artists like mangakas have editors that help them with that, they dont just put out whatever the fuck they want, they always try to get feedback first and they are open to change things according to it.

Ah, the facepalmer speaks, no doubt this one will get one too.

My apologies if you felt personally addressed, I was speaking in general since there has been a lot of commotion in this thread from folks who wanted to see things done different. This also applied to the virgin remark, which was targeted at those that always seem to pop into a thread (and not just this one) having an issue with the fact one or more possible LI's is not a virgin, or that they can't impregnate every fuckhole they encounter in a game. And if you read a few posts back, I also called it a bad thing it got changed in this game.

Second, it is funny that you bring up Leap of faith as an example because that dev did listen to feedback and changed his game to make it more enjoyable for his players
Funny how you skipped where I said "for the better part". I never said they didn't change anything at all.

That's like comparing apples with oranges. Not all VN devs are in it for the money. Heck, they may be glad if they can even recoup part of the costs that go into making a VN. They sure don't all have the means to pay thousands getting the info.
Plus there's a difference between acting on feedback and rewriting half of a game to satisfy 'demands' from horny teens who can only think with their 'other head'.
And giving in to 'feedback' can ultimately also backfire, GoT TV series vs the books comes to mind.

Sure, if the main goal of writing a VN is to make money based on a rough idea of how it should go, by all means, let them listen.

On the other hand, there's also devs out there who have a clear picture in their minds of what the end product should look like, and are sharing it with the idea others may like it the way _they_ envisioned it.

It's pretty obvious that is what it is. It's fourth wall breaking tongue in cheek nonsense, but it's also endearing, because at least they are trying with their world building and stuff. They found a way to excuse edits on the fly and shortcutting by writing lore around it. So it makes the game more flexible to the patrens demands. That is why it's pretty clever and it's not like another game that just bamboozles you at the end, looking at you Lust Theory. The game that pulled the classic 'it was all a dream/simulation,' so it never actually happened. In simulation 69, the simulation is the world and they are living souls within that world. Hopefully it keeps up at this level and doesn't shit the bed, like so many games do, after having a solid start.
