Honestly, I'm starting to hate the tag system here. It's getting harder and harder to just find a game which want's to tell a good story that isn't predictable by these damn tags. It has the harem tag?...Then we have an MC that of course everyone immediately falls for and the Li's are only allowed to look at the MC. It has NTR?....Then the MC is a wimp and all the girls jump other guys/girls/whatever at the first opportunity.
As soon as a game wants to make a story in between, a game where you don't know everything in advance - actually as in most good movies out there - is immediately put down here because it doesn't follow the damn tag rules. As if we don't already have enough rules in real life...

It's one thing to tell a dev in a normal way what you don't like in his game, or even to offer advice, but what's happening here? Sorry, but not okay.
Way too aggressive comments, denigrating the dev and the game, lots of people who through some magical reason seem to know what the majority of players want. I don't remember being asked, I also haven't seen any survey.
It's fine if you like your stories told a certain way, it's fine if you don't want ANYBODY ELSE to touch any girl/women the MC could have sex with at one point, but get it through your heads, that not everybody sees it your way.
I know it must be shocking, but maybe it is not even really the majority of players or harem game players who sees things like you.
I love Harem games, I'm always sad when a game I like doesn't include a harem route and yet I'm mostly fine, if the girls are in another relationship at the start and behold, I don't give a fuck if a woman has sex with another woman, in fact I WANT that to happen, both with and without the MCs inclusion, because it is frigging hot.
Unlike you guys, I don't expect everyone else to see it my way, nor do I claim the majority of players shares my preferences, but really, neither should you.
And you should fucking stop accusing devs of lying or act as if they personally insulted you, because not everything in a game fits your wants and needs. I don't like everything that happens so far in this game, but I'm fine with seeing where it leads and if it indeed turns out in a way I don't like, then I'll just stop playing.

As I see it, I think the rant is fair, but not because and want you or another player to like what I like. I don't want to help Scarlet's relationship with Violet, Scarlet already showed interest in the MC (just before the MC handed Scarlet over to Violet on a platter, and to be fair, I know Violet did it first since she was the one who sold Scarlet to the MC for the massage, but I wanted the option to go to her house or not, help her with it or not). So we have some interest in her already and she is in the MC so why help her fix a relationship that is failing? Why not stand aside and watch this canoe sink and save "our Scarlet"?
Then we have Nancy, I understand that the MC needs James' help, but why, again "hand over" a woman that the MC already has an interest in and she already has an interest in the MC, why not give us an option to offer another type of help? I understand that we may never help this happen, but as mentioned above, it's becoming a pattern in this game for the MC to behave as a "love counselor". and we have no option to act differently. And when the DEV comes and says that sharing will be a small thing and totally optional, I understand that we could play without being a waiter of women, I hope to be the egocentric, hypocritical, greedy fuck that I am and get all the women for myself, without having to offer them to anyone, neither to another man nor to another woman.
And like I said in the other post if he gives us the options of helping or not helping, both sides could play without having these "offenses" here as you said "thinks it's hot two girls playing" and want to help Scarlet stay with Violet, okay, you go and choose the option to help. But if you're like me and you're not here to work as a guy and give your girls to others, just choose the option to tell Violet to shut up and keep sucking. And send James and watch some fucking porn and help him in some other way that doesn't involve handing over one of our girls.
But I understand that this is the DEV's game and he does what he feels like, after all the first person who should like the game is the DEV himself. because if he doesn't even like his work, the game will become shit for the simple lack of interest. So to finish I want to say that I am not criticizing the DEV, I am asking (advising, trying to help ...) that put options so that several people can play, and not just people who think cool help other people to fuck other people and people who find sexy girl x girl. With options that AVOID and ALLOW this to happen, both you and I can play and both have fun with their tastes without complaint to the DEV (I know there will still be people complaining about something, "that woman who has 3 daughters is not a virgin, this can not happen", well for these types of comments I give no audience).

I respect your opinion but let me tell u this. The dev created this game the way he wants people to PLAY it. As a player u want immersion to the game. Im okay with girls having sex with girls but im a harem guy btw. Wouldnt it be fair for both parties if u give the option to let them hv fun without you or spoil it for them? Wouldnt it be fair if our MC hv some spine and just blocked every other npcs plans on somebody? Almost if not all wants an option on what MC they want to be; passive or aggressive. All im saying is give an option if mc just want to watch as things unfolds through his own eyes or mc can make things work for him. Some maybe ok with being just a bridge or stool to be step on and some doesnt. A game should always give us choices on what direction we are going to pursue. Thats all i can say. Its the devs game and he/she has the right to implement anything he wants on his/her game. Good luck

I think there are always comments that are not needed. I think it is always possible to give an opinion in an educated manner. But this is the internet. To expect this to happen is naive. And, above all, we are human and we make mistakes. We all do. I always try to measure myself, but there are times when I forget to do so and I get overheated. Heh. It's a shame, yes. If you want to do your bit to stop this from happening, just don't do it. I mean, I'm not talking about you directly. It's a figure of speech. It has to start with yourself. Expecting others to do it is impossible, unfortunately.
Now, I won't talk about "how a harem game should be". My opinion is pretty similar to the comments here, but I don't stop playing a game because it has optional sharing, optional swinging or optional NTR.
That's why I insist that the biggest problem is not these fetishes. Because they are not a problem. A fetish in a game is never a problem as long as it is well executed, in my opinion. Especially in a game that really has a story to tell. If the purpose of a game is exclusively sex and fetishes, add whatever you want and however you want. I'm sure no one will complain. The problem is that, so far, this is not optional/avoidable when the developer said it would be. As a player, I don't feel comfortable when the MC agrees to help James fuck his stepmom. Of course, nothing is happening yet and surely in the future we can avoid it. But why do we have to put up with this? If I don't want to share my love interests, I don't see the point that we don't have the option to tell James to fuck off in the first place. Instead, the player is forced to have our protagonist push his love interests onto other people.
Taking the main plot into account, the MC seems more focused on getting his love interests fucked by other people rather than focusing on his main task. I'm no longer talking about focusing on building his harem, I'm talking about finding out who killed his father. He needs James' help and instead of paying him back in some other way, what he comes up with is offering his help to get his stepmother fucked. Yes, I know this is porn logic, but, in a situation of that magnitude and with that importance, all you can think of is offering one of your love interests as payment?

You are giving your opinion in a reasonable way, many others here did not. In my opinion you can read your post as a dev and either say, "well, he sort of has a point." or "while I might not agree, I can understand his problems" and that is fine.
What is not fine is if a first time dev gets pages upon pages of people slaughtering him and his game and not because of failings like horrible renders or a horrible story, or undecipherable Engrish, no simply for telling a story in a way that people feel is not in accordance with how THEY interpret tags.
Again, it is in no way so that in a harem game, no one is allowed to have sex with a possible love interest except the MC, it is perfectly fine for the MC to get together with someone once her previous relationship stops, there are also many harem games, where the girls are also into each other, some of the really successful games have scenes like this, like Sisterly Lust for example or Philly's games.
You are either fine with that or not, but if you are not, that doesn't give you the right to shit on the dev and his game, like so many here do. Just fucking accept that there is something in the game you don't like and either stop playing it or not, despite it.
As for the insanely over-discussed shit with James and his step-mom.
I admit, I don't like it, but it is not my game, it is boomx's game, and he obviously wants to tell the story this way.
And we don't KNOW where this will go, we don't know whether the MC will actually help James fuck her or if he will sabotage it at one point or simply stop it before it happens.
Why are people giving this particular game and this dev so much grief over some conversations in the game, they don't enjoy?
Do you really not see, how incredibly entitled a lot of players are acting here? They want to actually tell the dev how to tell his story and as long as he doesn't obey them, they will continue to attack and attack and attack him.
Seriously, this is his first game, he is obviously not completely untalented, so this could become really good, but what do you think happens to him, when he gets battered like this for page after page after page of discussion here?
Sure, some might just leave the forums and do as they please, but it is just as likely that he will simply stop making a game, when faced with so much criticism.
Criticism I might again point out which is not based on quality, but on preferences of a relatively small group of players who through their actions and behaviour make it seem as if everyone playing the game is on their side.
So let me say it again, give the guy a break. Let him tell his story the way he likes it and if you really can't stomach it just stop playing. Do not keep on hammering your points into him until he breaks. (not directed at you personally, I use you unspecifically apart from my first section).
If he stops working on the game, he likely won't make another and his fierce critics here will be left with nothing but another abandoned game.

I understand your positioning and agree with the issue of "attacks", criticize something without presenting a way to make it better in some way, is bullshit. so I still by hitting in the key that I do not believe I'm offending (of course, this is in my opinion) I believe and at least try to do in a way to help (Orientar, would be the most appropriate word in my Portuguese), and I'm doing this because I like the game and I like the "mystery" behind his father's disappearance. It is by no means a way to troll on an internet site. I want the game to grow and flourish and yield good fruit for the DEV. So I believe that giving the option to avoid/choose some things is the best way not to limit the public (of course it will still have people criticizing and not playing the game for the simple fact of having a share avoidable, but I think these "extremists" are not a large percentage of the community).
So again, if the DEV could put some alternatives in their game, I believe it would be much more interesting for everyone, options like helping Scarlet/Violet's relationship, helping James with Nancy, or offering something else.... but of course, this is all possible and doesn't prevent Dev from telling the story he wants to tell. But as some time ago he said that the whole sharing thing was something small and totally avoidable, I understood that yes, there could be these alternatives that don't interfere with the main story of the game.
But again, I speak in a non-abusive manner, if it sounds like I am demanding that the DEV make their game for me, and me alone, that is not my intention. I want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy a good story without having to go through something that is unpleasant for them.

The game is on Episode 3 part 2 and has 29 patrons, so I think every one would have to agree that the developer might want to consider doing some things differently. I haven't read all the posts, I don't doubt that some comments could have been made more tactfully. To suggest that it is a small group of people that doesn't like the content is a disservice to the developer. Continuing down the current path will probably ensure that it will take a very long time to reach his goal of 100 patrons (he may never reach it.) I read the comments and decided not to play the game. Is that what the developer wants? Players reading the comments and walking away. Rage against the way the message was sent, but the message itself seems to have some validity.

The game so far is great in everyway.. story, renders, animations. BUT I do have one bone to pick with the DEV.. It's a breakfast scene with Lexi.. The MC states.. "I hope you like scrambled eggs." and Lexi says "Yummy." and in the next picture the eggs are CLEARLY sunny side up. Ruined the whole immersion factor for me... but I guess I can let this one slide.

First time playing Sinful Life and the story is why I decided to give this a shot in the first place. I like cult type of games and such. The ladies are fun to look at, but relationship wise everything or should I say everyone is sorta Mid.
Scarlett is dating a shemale, which baffles me. But I'm glad there's an option to turn that feature off, shemales usually lead to gay content and that's not my thing. Romance is nonexistent, everyone is just fuck buddies so far, Scarlett is already in a relationship, but is quickly gravitating towards the MC's dick. Emma is Emma. Lana went down faster than a hooker on Saturday night, it's a matter of time before with shag Allison and Nancy once they're done teasing us. Lexi seems like the only legit choice for me so far, there's no skipping scenes so you're just going through motions like a kinetic novel.
