VN Ren'Py Abandoned Sins of the Father [v0.8.1] [Kaffekop]

I got a "little" problem with this game. How is it possible that laptop [CPU 4x2,4GHz and 4 GB RAM] just gets frozen when I turn on this game and I need to restart it? It's really weird for me. I already played unity games on my laptop [BB and MotH] with no problems and I can't even turn on properly this game on the lowest options [pic;fastes 320x300 screen]

Currently trying to figure out, what the hell is wrong and I think we're closing in on it.
Have you tried the version two posts above?
I'm hoping that it solves at least some of the issues that people are having.

Nice game with lovely renders and not-so-gnarly-characters.

Congrats, game passed crucial obstacle - after few updates gameplay has not fallen into simple click quest, ugly grind or fucked up maze. For now it keeps very good level.

Still, I believe, it has not found it's own way - having inhibition stats is good, but after 3 updates you still have little freedom to change anything (there is no clear outcome). It's good for plot-oriented quests (as this game slowly progresses this way), but makes it look like author is just adding new people as fresh blood, without giving you means to influence story.

Still I like this idea of many different girls (non family harem) very much - you could make choices and decide which story it is - love vs. corruption, where mc has choice to corrupt family or to go for more or less decent romance. It sounds funny, but the idea to make porn game less porn (and straightforward) may be good.

Saving system is ugly - slots 7&8 are broken, saving freezes. The only way to prevent from hanging - changing image quality to lower (have no idea why).

Thanks, and seeing that this is not a sandbox-sim game but a heavily story oriented game, you will not see any heavy grinding in there.
There are a lot of people to interact with and they all have their own little agenda's, side stories and such, that can be played out, while the world slowly turns, and Mack's destiny unfolds - for better or for worse.

@Kaffekop I just got threw playing the one release on the 21 or 23 or what ever the date was and had no problem at all.
I also did not use save's past 4 though.

For some reason the game is using way too much RAM resources when i was using 6GB Ram same problem happened when i used 8GB Ram pc game used 7.4 out of 8GB and worked fine.

Some unity engine games might default to integrated graphics.

You may need to make an exception in your anti virus program for the game to run as it should, some anti virus programs lock up new exe from running if it has never been done before.

Damn that update was hot.
So many games give their mc a huge dick and then solve it by turning the vagina/mouth of everyone into mini blackholes.

Watching marsha a milf/cougar trying that hard and barely managing it was really nice to watch. Looking forward how more petite girls will do at their attempt.

Also could do with more frequent H-stuff. There is a lot of reading and not much pleasing inbetween. I am not sure if I will check back on this one due to that.

The "inhibition" stat usually starts at 50 and goes down. It even goes negative for one character.

I stand corrected, I should have at least tried the game.

Yeah, I have to admit, that my vn is rather heavily centered on story telling. Things will slowly change over the next update or two, so you might want to check back around 0.06'ish.
Mack is a fairly insecure young man here at the beginning of our story, but within any narrative, evolution is key - or change if you will. And Mack will change over the course of this story or there wouldn't be a story to tell.

Yeah, it appears that it is the 7'th save option that fucks up. I tried it myself right before coming here, and it brought my machine to its knees.
Hopefully it also fixes whatever trouble others have as well, but I'm not holding my breath for that. I fear, that there are other forces at work in those instances.

Thanks for playing everyone and now I can hopefully turn all my attention towards making version 0.04.
