I want to like the dialogue mini-game, but the "cues" aren't clear enough + managing the meters + the experience of having to click through every little update as to how the two sides are doing just makes it a slog.
And it doesn't help that the game *literally* threatens you to try to crack each scenario to get the bonuses, or else you'll "lose them forever." So now what could be fun feels more like a boring obligaiton.
Plus, the meters triggering the auto-retreat/bad ends at about 80% of full instead of, IDK, 100% of full so you can accurately measure what you need to do next, feels like a bad idea.
