The old saves remain. But always I take the precaution of copying the saves folder inside the game folder just in case.

Just copy the saves folder from inside the "game" folder over to the new versions "game" folder.

Yes, she is part of the Liza route. When she wants to talk to you, say yes.

Had to re-read the WT again just to be sure. So you're right it doesn't tell you how it starts.

If you mean the pc patch no but a quick search of the thread found

Absolutely true from a story point of view. But, if you have a save just before things get interesting then you can enjoy Iris as many times as you want

the game is trying to skip to day thirty one (that doesn't exist), this is the fix (that went a little wrong) for people not in a relationship with Rachel (as before the game would just assume you were and it was pretty weird).
