Voice Acting wouldn´t be that bad. But it is. It is because it´s fake. It doesn´t fit in quite well. Not just in this game, but in every game with actors, because the actors can´t do it quite well... bring it to reality if you know what i mean.
The voice acting in this game is bad because the actors aren't acting. They are most likely reading straight of the page, posing as the character rather than being the character. I usually don't like voices in my porn games cause of this. Even the games that have "music" or sound effects are annoying and a waste of time imo. VA can be done very well but many lack the skill/interest/time to work on it properly. Many of the Patreon porn games suffer due to the expectations of monthly releases but given that many creators rely on the income, I doubt it will change.
which means I wont play overwhored 2 until 2023 most likely. seeing how much content four elements trainer puts out in the same timeframe as this and both are drawn images, this is terrible.
The difference between an artist who makes a game and a writer to who commissions art for a game.
This doesn't make sense. They are both cartoony styles. one just has extremely lazy or extremely underpaid artists.
I am going to have to go with lazy rather than underpaid, given how little actual art got made in 5 months there is clearly someone slacking off. At this point I don't blame the artists though, JewCat is the one in charge of production and this isn't his first release, if the artist he has is working too slow then he he needs to find another one with a similar style and be be upfront with them that he has a time schedule that he has to keep. The guy is making over 7,000 a month, even with the cost of commissioning art that is sill a hefty chunk of change so he has no excuse.
Probably because one SS update is about the size of this entire game. Plus SS art is better, the writing is better and this game only gets about one update every 3 months. I really don't have to wonder why it's not as popular, especially considering the steaming pile of shit the most recent update is.
Man I really enjoyed the first couple updates; it has my favorite fetishes mind control and incest, the art's good, and the writings decent. But after this last update I can't agree more. Between the super long wait and the stupid focus on lesbian content, this was a disappointment. Oh well, at least I have DoD for the mind control/incest.
