I've been following this game for a while. By following I mean sometimes clicking notification for a new post in this thread. I gotta say it was funny seeing how people still fell for obviously fake news

Btw what kind of mods this little game has? Is there anything that one would consider "game changer"?

The people who started this game a year back or more they did not think about Extending the game then it was still the same it needs a big update or it must fall in to abandon this game is like a simulator kind of a game it just needs more work. I am not a Developer or anything like that but did the people who developed this game think about extending the game.

the situation is quite unknow, some said he/she take a break a bit to comeback, some said he/she ditch the game like other game dev

Assuming TValle does NOT update the game this month, I plan to release a new version of Monkey in March.

It contains several improvements and features required to load new content that has been in development for many months by other modders which they plan to release soon after.

In regards to the future of the game, or the current development status, I have no specific information or insight.

His last public note on Discord (12/24) stated that he was taking a break because he was exhausted, but planned on resuming working on the game 'soon'.

For now dev take a brake, we just wait what he post next. If he gone silent for like 6 months it must likely be abandoned. Gona be real shame, it one a hella game.

Description of the mod in the second link(better experience) is very confusing. I've read what is written under "Installation & Compatibility" spoiler tag and it is stated it probably conflicts with monkey mod and they shouldn't be mixed together. Ok, but there is a link labeled "Latest version" in the same post and clicking it takes me to another post where it lists monkey mod as a requirement and unlike other requirements it doesn't have a download link for it:

Monkey and BE can be used together.

Make sure you're installing the latest versions and using a fresh install. That means deleting any temp folders if you have already installed SMA once. I believe Monkey should be installed first, and then BE.

And then, in addition to Monkey and new content that has been in development for many months, there will be a new release of better experience. Completely technical release, without any new features worth mentioning, except maybe font scaling(bigger on-screen fonts).

And a new tech demo about the office and earning money with camera, and not working as recruiter for Some Other Agency Guy

Alright, now I've succesfully installed game&mods but performance seems not so great, infact not good at all. No matter which resolution I use and which options I disable my fps remains stuck between 39 to 44 and game is only using 40% of gpu and 30% of cpu. I am not sure if this is a me problem, game problem or a mod problem. Can someone tell me if game is supposed to run like this or is something wrong on my end?

Are you running on a NASA spec PC, then you should worry.

I've had the same framerates as you, when I ran this game on a 12 year old PC, with a 1050 GPU, 16GB ram, and a i5-3150 CPU on win10.

Add someting usefull, CPU, GPU, amount of RAM, What system do you use. It all matters.

it is common for fps to drop once model is present. But cpu/gpu utilization is like that because "the game optimization overall is very poor" so it can run ok for other and bad for another you and me are one of the unlucky ones

Your specs aren't the problem it seems by your screenshot....I have less then you and way more frames....the way I did it was playing around with the games graphic settings in options....and fine tuning my GPU settings within Nvidia control panel.

Your best bet is to change the graphic settings within the game; try lower settings or disabling things that may not be needed, or not very impactful visually (you can do all this while the game is running)... once you find what works during your trial and error you should be all set....you can even go as far as setting up a configuration through your GPUs display settings...set up a specific config for the game itself, from your GPUs program settings.

If that's something you haven't tried yet or have played with before there are plenty tutorials out there with more or less an idea on how to improve performance without losing so much of the visual eye candy.

Your graphic cards settings will have floating hints when you hover your mouse over a specific setting (like within Nvidia control panel program settings/for example) to help you get an idea of what's affected.

Unfortunately I've already changed game's settings. I've disabled whatever I could and lowered anything else to minimum setting. But none if it made any difference. I've even lowered the render scale to minimum(25), at this point game becomes barely playable due to massive quality loss and yet the same problem still continues.

That's kinda ridiculous honestly if I'm having less specs yet mine runs flawlessly...you might need to optimize your system/check GPU drivers/directX updates; and or other windows visual optimization updates.
