I don't really like that the MC is black butt, the game is good

Imagine thinking to yourself "i'd love to make a comment about this game, I wonder how I should join this particularly thread" ...... then jumping straight to racism.I don't really like that the MC is black butt, the game is good

While you are correct that many - me included - want to identify as the protagonist of a book, movie, or here a visual novel, and you cannot choose what you like (we don't "pick" our favorite love interests, they just will be depending on our preferences), it is kinda funny how we can empathize with a green Ogre in Shrek, a space magician from another Galaxy in Star Wars, a clown fish in Finding Nemo - and yet draw the line at a normal human being with slightly different pigmentation? People accept that their surrogate is muscular and bright when they themselves are not, works as a headhunter in a foreign country when they themselves are barely leaving the house, yet somebody who could be them except for minor optic changes is not possible?where do you see racism.
1. when i watch a film or play a game i try to identify as the main character.
i am white, its hard for me to identify as african, indian or whatever.
would be the same when i play a game where the mc have dwarfism.
so a little guy who try to climb a tall woman. i also cant identify with this.
there is no hate, only a fact
2. people can choose a partner. friend or sexual.
they can choose what they want a tall or small, thick or thin, tanned or not.
skin collor is only a body characteristic. and everbody have there preferences
dont try to see racism everywhere
when you want to see ghost, you will see them
well I liked the game only that the MC was a minus point on my book, and what ever you think you don't know me, no need to take it like that
me too I got called racist because I can't get into a game with a Black MC, but I have a more of a problem with a fat MC, an ugly MC or an old ass MCWhile you are correct that many - me included - want to identify as the protagonist of a book, movie, or here a visual novel, and you cannot choose what you like (we don't "pick" our favorite love interests, they just will be depending on our preferences), it is kinda funny how we can emphasize with a green Ogre in Shrek, a space magician from another Galaxy in Star Wars, a clown fish in Finding Nemo - and yet draw the line at a normal human being with slightly different pigmentation? It's how they word it that makes it racist.where do you see racism.

Well, that's like your opinionIt's how they word it that makes it racist.
"I can't relate to this MC" .... Okay.
"Shame the MC is black" .... racist.
Though to be fair, it is the generally accepted opinion on this.Well, that's like your opinion
I just said that I didn't like itThough to be fair, it is the generally accepted opinion on this.
You can't change how you feel, however, you can work on how you talk and act upon that.
Young and inexperienced with life you are or just lucky enough if you never experienced story like that in real life. Living at her apartment is just pragmatic, same goes with college but their fight itself is purely emotional. I have experienced situation like that in my life, of course with different details and I find there noting to be weird. One point of criticism I have is about the MC's fight with Chris. I just find it hard to believe that he's ignoring her calls and e-mails, but lives in her apartment while replacing her at the college she teaches at. I got the feeling that STWA got cold feet about what the feud would be about, and dialed it down to make Chris more likeable/redeemable.
So you're saying you're not a bestselling author fucking half a dozen college girls?(...) of course with different details (...)
Nah, I've been there. But when I was shut off, I was shut off. The thing for me is, if the wound was that deep that he couldn't bare to hear from Chris, how did they set everything up? For someone wallowing in self-pity like MC was... That's a huge step.Young and inexperienced with life you are or just lucky enough if you never experienced story like that in real life.
I disagree with your conclusion and everything it's based onLet's not try to white wash a racist comment, by making MORE racist comments.
The fact that you can't identify with someone of a different ethnicity (NOT race, the race is Human), is a deficit of your development as a person, your Limited capacity for Empathy, is a developmental problem. Your environment is most likely the culprit. By environment, I mean your family, your friends, the people that surround you. Not only that, but your inability to even comprehend that that IS a problem is also a result of your involvement in that environment.
Clearly, you suffer from the self imposed ignorance that comes from not exploring outside of your chosen boundaries. You are being mentally lazy, have auto imposed ignorance and will NEVER be a fully developed human unless you go out into the world to experience difference and learn empathy.
If you feel that an absolutely RACIST comment is not really racist, is only because YOU are a Racist. Everyone else sees it for what it is.
I have good news. Racism isn't for life. It can be cured.
Better news even, the treatment is free. It's called Education. It doesn't even requires you go to school.
Peace
