I have to say an overall very well done game and very enjoyable until now, even if maybe bit easy to lock yourself out of routes already and miss scenes because of that. Then that seems to be a conscious choice of dev so fair enough. The one thing I did not like was the fact that you more or less had to choose between that talk with Beatrix and going to Lyndie at the very end.

Especially since the talk with Beatrix was not sexually in nature and after that earlier talk with her at party I could not see my MC not wanting to talk with her while not going to Lyndie after what she offered also is a no go for an MC that is interested in her. Feels that choice was just a bit too early in Beatrix story and an unfair moment.

A choice in which one you would be interested in as LI or would have wanted sex with would have been fair enough, but a choice between after being asked to be first with Lyndie which should have serious consequences if not turn up then without option to tell her Beatrix needs you as a friend at that moment and not being there as a friend for someone who seriously needs you , with the importance for being there for his friends MC has, did not feel like a fair choice in the end. Since it felt like letting Beatrix down as a friend or blowing up relation with Lyndie and not a choice between who you wanted to be your lovers. Even without wanting a sexual relation with Beatrix, my MC would have wanted the chance to be there for her as a friend first and foremost as well, without having to blow up relation with Lyndie for that.

One of the reasons the Beatrix route is hard is that in the original draft she and Kim were not originally supposed to have love ends, you could sleep with them but not get a proper ending. I changed that because I knew they would inevitably have fans, but I made their routes harder as sort of a compensation. I'll also say that I wanted that choice to be hard because it will lead somewhere in the endings, but I can't spoil beyond that. Thank you for the feedback though, I appreciate you taking the time and hope in the next few updates I can make that choice a little more palatable.

Just out of curiosity does Kimmy actually have a lot of fans. I took an immediate dislike to her after the first chapter and the other chapters made me feel kind of sorry for her. After this chapter I don't even want to be friends with her till she gets professional help since she is terrifying, I already dealt with a crazy redhead in another game and that was enough for me.

After this chapter I don't even want to be friends with her till she gets professional help since she is terrifying, I already dealt with a crazy redhead in another game and that was enough for me.

You would be stunned, I know I am. I was pretty open early on that Kim was supposed to be heavily abrasive and so dislike is what I expected. She has a surprising amount of fans now, she isn't Lyndie or Aoife popular, but from my anecdotal evidence she isn't at the bottom either.

Okay, obviously I love the game and just as obviously what follows is just my opinion...

The thing is that it shouldn’t be just about who the MC fucks/loves. If I was aware that a friend was in a shitty situation I’d want to be there for them. No ulterior motive involved. Kimmy and Beatrix both have shit going on but instead of trying to be there for them the MC goes and fucks Lyndie. Even if it meant that someone else decided to “friendzone” me because I didn’t fuck when called it doesn’t feel right to ignore someone in obvious distress. I’d feel like a shitty friend. But I should be able to explain that to Lyndie and, hopefully, she would understand.
For me the biggest flaw with the MC is that he spends too much time reacting instead of acting - waiting for one of the girls to come to his apartment, call him, etc. I want the MC to be able to call someone, have the player choose to call, and talk to one of the girls about what is happening instead of having to ignore one of them.

The MC needs to do some pursuing instead of being pursued. He needs a “boom box” scene type of moment where he’s declaring his interest even if it is unrequited. So far all of the women throw themselves at him and he doesn’t need to make an effort. I hope that changes soon.

I'm kind of surprised that's the case. I'm assuming Bea is the least popular. I really didn't like Bea till I played her path and she became my third favorite after Lyndie and Chris(who I also didn't like at the start) though I really like Dru now after this update.

The girls are all adorable and in my opinion every single girl is worth a complete playthrough, although I would never separate Lyndie and Aoife, the throuple is just perfect. I took Kim to my heart from the start, she is probably by far the most broken of all and then my helper syndrome takes hold. In any case, thank you very much for the nice update, I enjoyed every second and can hardly wait for the next one.

Thanks for your answer and I will def give you the chance to convince me since I did enjoy the game and all the women for their own reasons. To be honest though that choice would have been a lot more palatable if you had the chance to first talk with Beatrix and then would have had the choice later to either invite Beatrix to spend the night or go to Lyndie with all the consequences of the choice you now made attached to that second choice. (That would be a straight up choice who you like more and not feel like betraying a friend). Just would have felt better as a choice for a MC who was trying to move on and feels friends are very important too. Now if you have good reasons to have the choice as is then my argument falls away of course.

Like I said I did enjoy the game, just that choice did not feel right to me with MC being an asshole to a friend and/or a lover whatever he chose if also on a Lyndie path and her specific request and remembering who Lyndie is and her char in game.

Well she might be abrasive, but you can also sense there is a warmth and need underneath. As always the question if you can reach that woman inside and whether it is worth the price. Not surprised though that she does hit the right note for a lot of players here.

Exactly, I would have really wished for an option to follow Kim when she left the party, it was obvious that she was doing very badly and in real life I would have shit on every party in such a moment and would have followed her.

Doesn't surprise me one little bit. As a follower of several games, I see it all the time. I will mention one game as an example: Being A DIK. Quinn is a drug-dealing, blackmailing, head of a prostitution ring, and yet has a strong following. On the other head there is a striking amount of opprobrium heaped upon Josy and especially Maya. I am sure there are posters here who feel the same way about some of those girls.

Which only proves that it takes all kinds to make up a porn fanbase.

I'm disappointed that Bea seems so unloved. I can only attribute it to her first impression. I'll admit that I quite intensely disliked her at first. It's mainly due to my completionist streak and a longish stretch without any of my fave titles updating that I tried her route, but now I do like her quite a lot. In my ranking, I think she's actually tied with solo Lyndie. My personal fantasy (which I'm pretty sure is just that!) is that Bea joins the Aoife/Lyndie polycule.

Yeah I was of the same opinion of Bea I really didn't like her at all till I played her path I hated the MC at the beginning as well. That's the power of good character development I suppose.

Sure, but Poly doesn't mean constant group sex. There would be nothing remotely strange about two members of a poly arrangement never getting it on together. Just as it's perfectly fine for Aoife and Lyndie to each have solo time with MC.

So I am not a throuple fan at all... Mostly because I am not team Aoife. She's too perfect - her flaw is that she tries too hard to be perfect and has a rich and powerful mom?

Once I played the Beatrix path I liked her more, the problem is that her route is a Love Interest route and there's no "friends only but you still spend time getting to know them" route. We've hung out with Aoife, Chris, Lyndie, and Dru but not Beatrix unless on her route. It makes her a secondary (or lower) character. The MC has even hung out with Kimmy a bit.

To me, the day after playing the update, thinking on it some more, it is:

True, I understand that. But at the same time he needs to step up at some point. And simply communicating with Lyndie about how he is going to talk to Beatrix (or vice versa) shouldn't be that hard. I mean I am as introverted as you can get (I LIKE sheltering in place and wearing a mask for the most part) but I can still pick up the phone and explain myself to people.

Hopefully the MC will follow Lyndie's behavioral change as an example. If she can get out of her shell, then everyone should be able to do it.
