Well, I didn't want this to end, but I finally played through with the ending I wanted. It was lovely. I am so glad Kim is doing alright, the way the last chapter ended had my stomach in knots, crying and just all around not feeling great. There were still some very tender moments in this. It may be a while for me to do other endings as I am going to need to figure out some choices to have other options. I didn't have many choices at the end, which is fine, I followed my path. This was an absolutely fun ... VERY emotional ... ride. Thank you so much STWAdev I very much enjoyed this VN. Thank you, and good luck with the next step... I'll be waiting :)

A bit disappointed. The ending seems rushed. And MC never had a confrontation with his ex which was a bummer.
Rushed?

Go back, the dev had only ever planned out this many episodes, they are only shorts.

What about his ex?

It was done with, he moved on.

you get a error when you not choose B for the Last Day but then for Ending, maybe one version set fix.

i am litte bit disappointed for Aoife Ending, i would like to see her in a slinky dress better for a real celebrity as in standard ending before choose to be a housewife

rushed? not rly

what do you mean not confronting her?
'confronting' maybe the wrong choice of word.

I meant there should have been a scene where the MC and his ex accidentally bump into each other (the yacht party or some public event).

We find out that she was flirting with MC's friend before he told her that he's still a friend of MC. That might mean the relationship she dumped the MC for, was mostly likely over.

That's why I was hoping MC would run into her in LA.

The problem with that is it would have been a pointless scene.

She'd been cheating on him for a while and didn't care about his feelings and now she's also famous and can sleep with whoever she wants.

What purpose would him confronting her have?

She's arrogant and self centred, his problems wouldn't phase her. He pours his heart out, she shrugs and walks off. She isn't looking for forgiveness, she didn't bother about him when he was in hospital so him confronting her would do nothing but make him look silly trying to get something out of someone that doesn't give a shit.

The whole point of this was him moving on, she was his past and one that isn't bothered about what happened.

The truth is that confrontations like that are exceedingly rare, and in this case Ava is right. You wake up one day, and the miracle of that day is that you woke up at all, your friends are there, your family perhaps, but your ex sure as hell isn't. "Maybe she's ashamed, because she knows what I did." That's the comforting fantasy you tell yourself for a while. But as time passes you begin to realize the truth. You could have died, cold and alone and only through some quirk of fate are you even walking this planet and despite all of that, that woman never batted an eye. The central tenant of an ex conflict is that she cares about who you're fucking, but when she didn't even care if you were breathing the person you're fucking seems minor in comparison.

Most of the time when relationships are over, they're damn well meant to stay that way, and that's okay, the bitch or bastard from your past shouldn't matter, when you have a beautiful, cultured (possibly neurotic) partner to guide you into the future.

Well... I just finished the game. I don't want to write a full review so here are some thoughts.
The characters are interesting, not being common doll faces. Except Aoife's mother which unfortunately isn't on the menu.
The length of the game is right, without significant consistency issues.
For this kind of game the story is quite good.
But... I made an effort to play the game to the end (for the sake of the story) after first quitting at chapter 2.
It was just like watching a reality show. I just could not immerse myself by playing in the shoes of a black MC.
I'm sure there's a lot of people that won't have a problem with that so for them the experience will be more pleasant.

Actually, if it wasn't pointed out somewhere in this thread, I wouldn't even have noticed. MC's parts are not the one I look at most in these games ;)

as you know by now ex moved to their hometown (miles and miles away from la) so if mc chose to stay with aoifie then its highly unlikely that they'd meet.

For many years I would have been able to not care about a response like this. I have had 3 girlfriends who were black and a black friend in high school. I did have an issue when my oldest daughter was dating this one boy. He was black but that was not the reason though it certainly got a blown up conversation in which the accusation of racial prejudice came up. I just didn't think the kid really cared for my daughter. Race had nothing to do with it, his behavior did. Unfortunately, my brother, who lives in Birmingham Alabama and in Georgia before that, decided to open his trap and that blew it up into that racial conversation. My daughter luckily was sweet and wise enough to realize what dad was actually objecting to was protectively motivated and not racially.

All that being said, I had no problem putting myself into this story. I could care less whether the MC was an alien with purple skin or black or white.... ok purple alien might be a stretch here lol.
What I do have a personal difficult time with is playing Female Protagonist games. Sure they are better looking as a rule than the dude ones, but I like to sink myself into the story as the MC and female is the one attribute I can not get into...

Anyway my point was race for me means nothing, and in an ideal world, race would mean nothing for anyone. It makes me sad to see that for some it does.

I agree. Not to mention in how many other attributes we differ from MCs, yet still happily indulge despite wrong hair color, number of tats, hobbies, things we are told we like, the tiny micropenises games present us with.

Though I do agree as well that playing as a woman would also feel odd to me. Sometimes it works in purely lesbian games but I don't want to handle a dick. (Nothing against those who see it differently).

Yeah, my best friend is gay, so I have been subjected to all the classic pranks a knuckle dragging Neanderthal heterosexual guy could fall for. Walked in on a big screen tv of a gay porn fest and was drinking a beer which spewed out of my nose! Not that I have anything against gay folk or even gay sex porn, it was just the shock of walking in on that thinking that it was totally something else.
So the taking of dicks is not high on my list of desires at all, but really it is more that I like to immerse myself into the character, and I have too hard a time doing it with female protagonists... something I should get over but I could not even get into the Tomb Raider franchise for exactly that reason.
