Legend says that SR7 used to deliver bimonthly updates, and before that, that he used to deliver monthly updates with pretty much the same content, he just was more straightforward regarding the content.
Instead of saying

What we need is another artist with a similar art style to come out and give S7 some real competition. Maybe then these updates would be at least close to on time.

For some reason Marvel characters just don't click with me. They just all seem like worst version of DC characters.

DC has the hottest female cast for sure, but with the huge fanbase Marvel has, a solid porn game about its characters would def offer some serious competition for SU. It's not too saturated either, only Rogue-like Evolution comes to mind.
The problem with using a Marvel cast is that, blatantly false argument about DC having a better roster of women aside, is that there's less nostalgia for it. Marvel doesn't have a singular iconic animated universe from the 90s and early 00s to pull from. Only Spider-Man and the X-Men animated series crossed over with any regularity and Spider-Man basically only had MJ and Black Cat, and X-Men only had Jean Grey and Rogue. The other 90s Marvel series that existed in the same universe as X-Men and Spider-Man either didn't have iconic character designs or didn't feature many women. The problem isn't that there are less iconic women in Marvel and more that DC simply did and still does a far better job with animated series than Marvel.

True, DC has always been the best in regards to cartoons imo, while Marvel makes the best movies.
Still think there's potential for a Marvel game though, but on a much smaller scale than SU I guess.
And in regards to competition for SU, perhaps another DC-centred game could provide it, but one which focuses much more on plot and story-events and less on sandbox management content. And with a smaller selection of characters ofc.

Sunsetrider was originally thinking about doing the game in either the DCAU or in the Marvel universe but choose DC since Oni was already doing Rogue-Like.
