The problem with using a Marvel cast is that, blatantly false argument about DC having a better roster of women aside, is that there's less nostalgia for it. Marvel doesn't have a singular iconic animated universe from the 90s and early 00s to pull from. Only Spider-Man and the X-Men animated series crossed over with any regularity and Spider-Man basically only had MJ and Black Cat, and X-Men only had Jean Grey and Rogue. The other 90s Marvel series that existed in the same universe as X-Men and Spider-Man either didn't have iconic character designs or didn't feature many women. The problem isn't that there are less iconic women in Marvel and more that DC simply did and still does a far better job with animated series than Marvel.
xmen only had jean and rogue? what about storm? sure, im a bigger fan of her rocker look, but she still looks great, same with jubilee. add to that psylock who was a bombshell back then, mystique and pretty much any comic chick you want and you have a solid cast on par with the DCAU.

even the story can be setup easily, like someone comes back in time and try to corrupt the female cast, in order to setup a victory in the future, someone like mister sinister or even apocalypse. or, if you want something diferent, make a new character sent by cable, because of his power(something like, he is one of the few capable of surviving an alien virus that will destroy humanity), so he is sent to impregnate the female cast so they can give birth to a next gen xmen capable of surviving.

the potential is there.

Even still, there's far from a coherent art style from animated shows for a large number of the Marvek characters like the DCAU has.

kinda, but the dcau wasnt as consistent as you make it seem. even batman had a heavy change in the design that was pretty divisive.

my point is, the potential is there, the xmen was MASSIVE, and rogue (90's) still remain one of the top animated girls for many.

So Lex currently has Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Galatea, and Miss Martian. Literally the heaviest hitters, don't see whats stopping him from taking over at this point story wise.
even with all 4 of them, one man can beat them all even if they gang up on him, he's called Superman
Can you imagine if Lex Luthor decided to break Superman mentally instead? Rather than trying to have super-powered heroines fight him, he'll just wait until Lois Lane is thoroughly brainwashed, to the point that she wholeheartedly worships Lex's dick. And then when the inevitable showdown with Supes arrives, Lex's secret weapon is Lois Lane suddenly shanking Superman in the back with a kryptonite dagger.

Ledx can do the same with Batman, by having Barbara shoot him in the back. Maybe with Catwoman there distracting him, if Catwoman ever becomes part of the whole brainwashed harem thing.

Shit like that is a sure way to consign the entire universe to the Dark Multiverse, except in this one Lex Luthor won. By using his dick.

I forgot about Storm, but Jubilee was around 14 in that series, Psylocke wasn't in it all that much or at all, and Mystique has a very unattractive design. I'm talking about the X-Men animated series cast and nothing past that.

The problem with it is the art is so ugly and dated. Bruce Timm and the artists who did the DCAU were honestly geniuses; the art style was clean, simple, and yet very recognizable. And in the context of a game like this, very easy to draw porn of.

As much as I loved the previous X-Men animated series, it's art style just isn't up to snuff. You can try adapting the more modern art style from X-Men Evolution, they have plenty of female characters. In my opinion, it's too simple though.

If you'd adapt a Marvel H-game, it would probably be better to go for the comic designs and art style.

I'd also suggest not going with a "tech" hero like Lex Luthor is, because SU already does it. I'd go for psychic mind control and corruption; Marvel has plenty of telepaths like Exodus and Mastermind. You can even get more if you use a "hero" PC, like Nate Grey.

Bruce Timm may be a weird, creepy freak obsessed with making a 30 something Bruce Wayne fuck an 18 year old Barbara Gordon, but you can't fault his art style. Guy knows how to craft a unique, interesting, distinctive look.
