You must be one of the fappers because DMD it a great game with a great story being told.Don't mind build up but that being said I do mind when the build up is being used as a device to squeeze every dollar out of the backers DMD people defend that game so hard but the fact of the matter is the "Story" has crashed and burned in the worst way I won't get into the details on that not the place but building up to the pay off is fine matter of fact I think it's great but at some point somethings gotta give with these types of games.
Ok let us count the ways DMD's story has become a dumpster fire...You must be one of the fappers because DMD it a great game with a great story being told.
Chapter 1 just got finish and it has a great ending to it that makes me want to replay it over and over again.
They built in so many different ways to play that game that will take at least 5 different pathways to get all the rewards unlock and makes for a great story.
The same with Big Brother, has a great story and yes the suspense for the MILF reward is taken a long time to build up to but it to has great suspense building up to it. Just have sex with Alice and do one of the GF routes that you like and you get a lot of sex out of it while building up the the main course.
This game needs to build up that suspense to and it should have some side NPC's for dessert along the way.
I just how some of these games build up the suspense to the main course but others have a complete melt down if the main course is not done on the first day and I fell sorry for those players.![]()
Thank you for sharing this so far great story, I will let the mods know you are here and they may give you Developer status.Hi all.
Going to pitch in here in regards to blue balls and where Sophie is going.
Sophie was originally intended to be a short story whilst I learnt to code in Ren'Py and render in Daz. The original plan was to create a four part story covering the days whilst they were on their getaway. After Sophie's story I would create a brand new character, and tell a new story.
I didn't realise how well received Sophie would be, and it seems that most people enjoy the game because of Sophie herself and her 'accurate' representation of a young adult. Because of this my plans changed slightly in that I think Sophie should be a continuing theme throughout the series of games that I plan to develop.
So, Blue Balls.... Whilst I love DMD, I feel that it's become too complex and too long. From a developers perspective I imagine it's a complete nightmare to maintain, and as proven, it has too many choices/branches to complete (eg different job roles that were never completed). Over the first four games or so, I LOVED the slow buildup, really wanting more. However I play the game now and it's just lost that feeling. This is purely a personal view, I still love the game. I support his work on Patreon and will continue to do so.
And so this is why I'm developing my games in the way that I am. I want players to want more at the end of each episode, but I don't want people to have to wait 13 months to do so, especially when people are paying a monthly amount to support my work. So to answer the question, I'm not going to make Sophie a blue balls sim.
So where is Sophie heading? The current plan is to still keep this first chapter of Sophie's story short. Four parts most likely. I quite like the idea of creating a handful of stories showing different times/areas of Sophie's life. Maybe along the lines of a story about Sophie from her mothers perspective, perhaps a story looking at Sophie from a school friends perspective. Maybe even a story from Sophie's own point of view. Who knows, the possibilities are literally endless, and none of this has been set in stone so take it all with a pinch of salt.
Discussion is healthy and feedback is always welcome so I would like to thank you all for doing so. Also I've just got back from vacation myself so you can expect some more progress updates on episode two shortly.
Thanks again!
Tasty.
I know fox is probably going to jump straight up my ass on this post, but I Feel the same way about DmD.And so this is why I'm developing my games in the way that I am. I lost all interest in that game because of the repetitive scenes, the daughter's naiveté and Blue balling. I certainly wish you the best and look forward to pirating your next release...*pirate laugh*![]()

So I was originally not gonna try your game as I thought it was plagued with the same slow tards that get heated when you point out the OBVIOUS glaring flaws that are in DMD and star spazing when you make fun of their beloved "story build up" which in DMD has become a fucking side show in itself..Hi all.

Preach on bro...Preach on.So I was originally not gonna try your game as I thought it was plagued with the same slow tards that get heated when you point out the OBVIOUS glaring flaws that are in DMD and star spazing when you make fun of their beloved "story build up" which in DMD has become a fucking side show in itself..
Don't get too Butt hurt Fox.Honest feedback is always welcome to the dev's.
Pissed off feedback is a no no.:FeelsBadMan:
I even said I have a rep for being rather vicious in my grilling of the game but as you stated I don't just sperg out on the dev without bring facts and a valid reasons behind my wraith.Don't get too Butt hurt Fox.
@Infamy has always been a straight shooter. If he gets pissed off, it's his right to do that. He offers analysis and it is usually on point. Sure, He can fly off the handle sometimes but he stays on target.
You can't fault him for calling out the dev's on a pirate website. If anything the dev's usually appreciate the honest feedback, without people blowing sunshine up their asses and trying to "whitenight". I think the dev on this game will appreciate a proper analysis as well, even if it is a little heated.![]()
