Okay, so I've given the game a pretty generous test drive. Up until the first NTR event with Gael, or "The Frog" as the machine translation likes to put it. I know frog and Gael (Gaeru) are pronounced pretty much the same in japanese so I get it, but it's still funny.
I love the game, or rather, the story. I've wanted a really involved, slow burn NTR story for so long and I haven't been disappointed with this one even with the garbled translation. It feels so good that the game doesn't rush from sex scene to the next and rather concentrates on building the story and establishing characters for a long time. It makes the eventual NTR feel much more impactful. Especially the Ridley/Rin?? + Gael relationship. And that's the thing, they have a relationship. So many NTR games concentrate on the pornographic aspect of the game and try to get to the action really quick. I was really drawn in by the feeling of the gradual distance that grows between Ed and Ridley, due to your choices. It feels much more satisfying. I genuinely got that sinking feeling in my chest when the first actual sex event between Gael and Ridley takes place behind the locked door and the protagonist just hears the slow creaking of the bed in the dark dorm, none the wiser to whats actually happening down the hall. That's the GOOD STUFF! It's even better when it's clear that there's a real connection and a feeling of love forming between Ridley and Gael, the protagonist slowly becoming a third wheel. Ooh yeah. That's what I've been looking for.
That was where I had to stop. I couldn't continue spoiling my experience with the game in the state that the translation is in at this moment. I sincerely hope I will see the day when the translation has been improved and I can continue experiencing this diamond in the rough. Even the gameplay, which was tough as nails at some points was alleviated with the use of the game clear drops you get from the chest in the Memory room.
