as far as now, i always used old save from old episode and work good. if you have save from ep7, you can continu no problem.

Well i played this update and i must say this is out of place. Instead of working on completing the content for other girls (I mean show brodcasting and all thath staff) We get a spin off that is not progressing anything at all.

i must say thath Akubur humor is still on place.... But this is rather disappointing for a update.

its a fake game over. you just "continu" by relaunching the simulation. but you need 100 money for launch it everytime.

It holds just because the writing is still good, and also the drawings. But I was not really fond of replaying all the virtual room story to get the other 2 endings. So I did it once and extracted all the files to see the CGs afterwards. 3 things are bad for me : you can't see when Genie/captain gets handjobs from Jasmine or Ashelyn, no CG when you fuck Hermione in the inn, and the reward CGs in pixel art/chibi are nice but I'd rather have normal CGs. Also, yes I'd like the normal gameplay mechanics to progress (Lara and April to strip, some new TV shows etc...).

So u guys are nuts. Why are u complaining? For me atm star channel really delivers and akabur started working better for us. Remember the first episodes? Not a single CG there. Now we have 2 cg with small variations, 2 cartoonish arts and 4 cool looking outfits and as always - an enterntaining story. Its not bad for 3 months especially remembering the 7s episode which he made in like... one month or so?
Dude, not many other devs give their updates more often. I cant even remember when i lastly saw the update for kingdom of deception for example. And usually those games don't offer much more of the content and usually its worse. Having played like ALL the nsfw games out there i start to appreciate the quality which akabur does have.
PS>and to those whining about replaying the quest - just skip everything with ctrl making other choices, lol, its like 3 minutes per ending
PSS>and yes. When u are that deep in porn as i am u don't get off just sex scenes. Foreplay is what matters. I think that the slowly - the better. In the end it will be a nice game with a very realistic and slow buildup which will make it gold. And what u seem to desire is his "mating smth" game with april and turtles. That sucks, believe me, u have pornhub and hentaifoundry for that kind of thing. Let us admire the plot and all the happy littly things. God bless

if party dies on battle against turtles then pressing continue autosave (sim not game) should reload and genie would use potions etc.

If you think that much content is good I feel very sorry for you because you seem to never have crossed a dev, that actually delivers. I'm not here to talk shit about Akabur. I like the guy, his humor and his character in general. But stop pretending, this was a good update, content-wise and art wise. The CG doesn't even look like they are from Akabur, they have a strong Smersh vibe to me. And the VR crap is just a sad excuse to not go on with story and character development. The whole time I imagined a sad Genie fapping in an empty room.

The creator of "Kingdom of Deception" has different projects running... one is the regulary updated "The Last Souvereign" with plenty customized content that puts other devs to shame...

Sierra Lee doesn't work on KOD anymore sadly. The artist is still the same but he has two new creators on board. Funny speaking about an update in the post you reacted on, cause they just made one update last week

Not exactly what you're saying but it definitely has shades of the 'sunk cost fallacy'.

I'm happy to play an update when it drops, but this game seriously smacks of a lack of focus and intentionality. The episodic model of release, and patreon as a funding model, really leads to this. When you compare to what he was going for in the early stages, which really seemed like it was going to be another gradual corruption style trainer thing, with what's happening now it shows a gradual decline in artistic direction and purpose. For all the lewd content, this is the h-game equivalent of a sit-com at this point. He can keep dragging things out indefinitely because there's nothing really planned long term, it seems, just iterating on the general idea of "sluts in space" with no clear idea of where it's heading beyond smashing characters together in ribald ways and throwing in a new one whenever it gets stale.

I don't blame the dude for pushing out content when he has no clear goal, I imagine his livelihood is pretty tied to patreon tips at this point and straight jobs suck, but I feel like he needs to step away for a bit and actually plan something before he can make something as coherent as pt or wt again. Producing content without a passion or clear goal in mind leads to... this mess.
