"So, in case I forgot to mention this: Episode 06 is out!!! Now, obviously, it's not super heavy on the content or anything but I was really obsessing over not taking another 4 months to develop and episode and here is the result. I am not saying that I am going to dish out new episodes every 4 weeks now, but at least now I know that it is possible. For episode 07 I will be aiming for another short development window again, but we'll see how it goes. At the moment I just want to relax and soak in the realization that another episode is out. I've been a good boy ^^ "
Such a lie. You are like the orhers for. Money. Yoi did an 'update' for 4 month and others paid for monthly. Yoa are a shame too.

Sadly, no. If I were Akabur, I would use this "sim room" now to actively invite modders, who could push more content into the game, fast. As they don't touch the general story in any way - being not "real" episodes - it is the perfect playground for multiple people to work on the same game, without getting into each others way. Akabur could still control the experience, he could ask for chapters to be sent to him, which he would put in the game (IF he likes it), so the modder would technically not add a mod, but a chapter to the main game.
What do you think? And is there anybody who knows how to send this idea to Akabur?

enough money. But once it says "game over" I am left with the main screen. Genie has an exclamation point next to him, but nothing I click seems to change anything.

yo guys, quick question! i played this what feels like a year ago and all you did was click yourself through the same scene 10 times before you move on to the next one and do it all again 10 times... did this change is there actual gameplay now? i didnt look it up because i didnt want to spoil myself :3

dumb question but do you have to download each episode or is the episode just part of the title since it's a star wars parody?

Each version includes all episodes up to that point.

TBH, I'm against that idea. It's solely Akabur's creation, be it a VR concept form now on (which I don't like) or not, it's still his prerogative - but also his duty (for patreons) - to come up with something new by himself. If he wants to go in that specific direction - for Patreon purposes as many have (correctly imo) identified - then he shall do so.
Having a testing ground for different modder trials doesn't make much sense for his overall concept of SC34 imo. True, there are many giftful people / modders with many (good) ideas, but in the end it would be all fanfiction and not Akabur's unique style anymore (the latest GC from ep.8 looks indeed a bit odd).
I'm not calling Star Channel a game (despite Akabur's decent hint in ep.7 ;-)), rather a joyful and satiric (and grinding) novel, always with some reflections on real life issues.
I see it more than a daily...monthly...quarterly soap opera, a visual novel, that I immensely like to read/watch.
And that's also the very reason I don't mind staying blueballed for so long, for me I just enjoy the story by now (especially LOLA and her mean streaks ;-)), I don't specifically need porn scenes in it though I do hope that some more might approach in the future (in SC34's reality, not in VR).
Overall, I'd like (a bit) more personal development of the characters, e.g. like Ashelin and Lara. But in the end It's Akabur's channel.
