I wish that was only this one that ''failed to launch'', but many others failed too, but all that we can do is cheer for this dev don't die on us and carry on with the futa quality content.

VoidPilgrim has been a lot more communicative compared to the FTL dev. I don't see the point in comparing the projects. Don't let your futadom project failure ptsd get the better of you.

I just wanted to clarify what a deadline is, what an estimate is, and the difference between the two. But since we are talking about deadlines, I am not saying that I won't break any in the future. That would be simply dishonest to promise, not to mention just unrealistic, considering the nature of one-man/spare time game development. But what I can promise is that I will always try my best not to, even if it means going on prolonged crunches - as I did in the past.
And since SP will celebrate its first year soon, and no deadline has been broken yet, I say that with confidence!
SP is here to stay. I already have the whole story prepared, not to mention that developing the game is a dear hobby of mine!

And I really hope you succeed, due to all that i've seen in this forum, break this abandoned futa games curse isn't easy, that's for sure.

hes setting his own dates, so in the expectation of a lot more nice smut and a happy creator i hope hes not leaning too much on self-exploitation.
I don't think anyone here should be bitching about the release time for now. Void has so far made good quality updates with a fair amount of scenes, within a good amount of time, EACH time. And not to mention he doesn't block the update being posted here even though he could easily.

It is not just this genre of pornography that is "cursed" with abandoned projects. People start doing porn art they enjoy. If they are particularly good and dedicated they start to make money, then it goes from a hobby you do whenever to a chore, with time people just burn out and leave. It is a tale as old as jacking off to cave woman cave paintings.

Thank you! For me, as a creator, money-wise, it is pretty much identical in the end. Substar takes slightly less money, but the difference is fairly marginal after the processor payment fees, etc. However, I have already been told that Substar is better for many supporters due to the fairer conversion rates, so anyone who wants to support SP should probably keep that in mind!
All in all, I make a point to always repost 100% identical content on both platforms. So, beyond mentioned above, it should be mostly your personal preference. Personally, I like seeing more people on Substar because I don't want to be 100% dependent on Patreon. While Patreon has been very kind to me, and I can't really complain about anything, it still has a pretty rocky history with smut makers, while Substar.adult is pretty much made for it.
I originally started developing the game here, on F95. The game wouldn't even exist without this forum and you good people. I would be a mighty hypocrite to start obstructing leaks for some unexplained reason.
