You should be able to fix it the same way you removed the implants. Just go to each affected slave and set their intelligence to what you want, if you can figure out which number controls it that is.I have another problem. I set a rule for all my slaves to get a specific list of implants, but I added the Insomnia one without understanding how it worked...and what it did. And I played quite a while before I realised that all my slaves were now insane and brainless (Intelligence 0).
Is there any way to change their intelligence in bulk (without having to go back more than five hours earlier)? I found a way to rewrite the save file with Notepad++ to remove the implant and all Insanity cases (the previous ones had already been converted into Corrupted, so it was not an issue), but I can't find a way to change the 0 for Intelligence without changing other stats (and I fear that many of those that are at '|0|' should not be set at 50 or 100).
Of course not, no slave stays on assignment at all times. While some assignments are specifically designed to be able to allow it, according to the tool-tip, they may not be set to default on keeping slaves there at all times.Have any of you noticed in .24 your researchers don't stay in the lab? I have tried reloading and rebooting. They just don't show up. I still haven't completed a single research project with 3 desks
With 300 slaves, and around 80-90% that have this 0 Intelligence (I realised that some had escaped this fate, those who were at 100 already, in addition to all the new slaves I got in between)...honestly, I don't want to dive into the save files...You should be able to fix it the same way you removed the implants. Then you can send them in game to the training room, I believe school is the actual assignment name, and wait. They'll regain it over time as long as they aren't in a state that affects intelligence. The implants were dealt with through an automatic replacement, but identifying 270 points, with varying positions because all slave sheets do not appear to be the same everytime...nope, I won't do that...
Well in 1 hour play my 4 researchers have yet to show up and have I a first tier research project stuck at 57 percent.Of course not, no slave stays on assignment at all times. Last time I play 0.24a (a couple of weeks a go) I play without Brothels, Milk and no cheats. I had no problems at all with bugs. But the money comes very slow and you have to wait to be able to do any investment.Out of pure curiosity (and to get away of "bugged this, messed up that"): someone here tried to play without brothels? Only milk/arena (first one even without tourists/citizens)? Sounds doable but want opinions.
You buy those workers/bioreacters in bulk from the same menu where you select which slave auction to go to. They're not individuals, they're just bulk goods. Some questions:
How does one make slaves fuckdolls/workers/bioreactors? I feel like it should be very simple but I can't seem to find an option for it in the UI.
Also what are the advantages of them over just regular brothel work for example?
How do the various states for slaves work/are achieved? (ex. mindbroken, insane, devoted etc.)
Sounds like they bugged out, not sure what to do as I've never been able to get around that.Well in 1 hour play my 4 researchers have yet to show up and have I a first tier research project stuck at 57 percent.
I reload they still don't show up. I reboot, they are there for a minute or two and disappeari
With the exception of fuckdolls, they are just extra passive income from what I understand. Fuckdolls serve an extra role, entertainment without using your trained slaves. You buy those workers/bioreacters in bulk from the same menu where you select which slave auction to go to. Honestly, I'm not even sure what they do. You can assign sections for them in the centre part for 50k, but I dunno what the result is.
Fuckdolls are the same way, but they staff a single piece of furniture in the brothel.
I've tried, my early games were no slave runs, then I went for only conquered slave runs, and now only faction leader slaves and the offspring I make them birth. It's doable, but a bit tedious compared to going for slaves. As for maintaining virginity, your best bet is to keep them assigned to your suite, that way their virginity will only be taken if you make the choice despite what the animation for the assignment looks like. There doesn't seem to be penetration involved canonically without player input as far as suite slaves and those slaves assigned as suite pets are essentially just eye candy. On that same note, StationmasterDev, the game could use a virginity restoration surgery.I wonder if you could build a station purely on the bar (regular, not milk) and hotels, until you can afford a beginnings of a fleet and then make the rest of your money through piracy.
You wouldn't need slaves at all, because they don't work in the bar (for some reason) and your ships seem to be automated.
I guess you'd need researchers? And maybe receptionists?
That does make me think that there need to be more mundane not-sex jobs. Working in the bar, cleaning the station. Receptionist. Maybe a teacher who provides a bonus to everyone else doing school-actions?
Some sort of non-prostitution based customer service? (other than reception, I guess)
Sometimes you want to maintain a girl's virginity for whatever reason, there should be ways to make her useful without just turning her into a milk-cow.
I just thought of something: maybe their Obedience/Fear levels are problematic (too little of the first, too much of the second)? It would be worth checking, maybe there cannot be fearful researchers. Or their Intelligence levels are too low for them to be effective? (I only send 100 Intelligence slaves to do research).Sounds like they bugged out, not sure what to do as I've never been able to get around that.Last time I play 0.24a (a couple of weeks a go) I play without Brothels, Milk and no cheats. Well, it means 270 slaves not working for the long time it takes to get them to an acceptable Intelligence level (in addition to having to create that many school seats), but I fear I may have to do just that. Then you can send them in game to the training room, I believe school is the actual assignment name, and wait. Pretty much, yeah. Honestly, I'm surprised you're not running into issues with having that many slaves in the first place. I've seen comments that mention performance dropping at well below that number of slaves. I personally only keep a handful for that reason, just the faction leaders and the daughters I make them have, which will take over as a proxy for each faction home world. Not that I've been able to play for a little bit now thanks to Tyrant bugging out when I conquered her territory. I just don't want to deal with the annoyance of constantly being attacked by a faction that holds no planets or stations and therefore can't be stopped.I just thought of something: maybe their Obedience/Fear levels are problematic (too little of the first, too much of the second)? Another lead: have you (alex7sea) checked the Economic report to make sure your research slots are actually assigned? I guess you have, but better be sure the game has really registered your assigning the slaves to research.
