I shall admit I kinda stopped playing BaR because of that, like don't get me wrong I loved the game, but that shit just annoyed me, so I stopped. I wasn't even playing it for the cest (yeah sure had a little hope when I first played it but I kept coming back for the other characters), but the constant in your face with it, making you think "wait is this gonna have that?" you go and check and nope it doesn't.Well said. It'll do more harm than good in the long run and it will likely backfire on the dev. You'll have lots of pointless incest and mom - son requests. Another Julia from Become a Rock Star fiasco ... people still ask for MC - Julia fun time tho the dev specifically said his game won't have incest and Julia won't fuck another dude (don't know about women) to prevent NTR debates. I respect Mr.Jet for the wonderful work he doing with BaR but the whole Julia crusade is on him. Danson, believe us, it's not worth the headache man.
Luv how the game looks so far. The renders, the sexy ladies, the animations, the smartphone hints make it a promising project. A little far-fetched premise the whole "you an adult you can make it, but u can't live on your own and make your own decisions bcz mommy and daddy said so" but let's see how events unfold first. That being said it is fine to have not ugly family members that isn't how they fucked up, the fucked up constantly lewding them with no intent for there to be pay off. Especially when that character isn't even the reason people came for in the first place. I will say though i think they (BaR dev not danson) did that on purpose to monetise the incest fandom without actually having it, and it backfiring on them is just deserts, cause that be manipulation.
Anyway back to stay true and stay you, Danson Take BaR as a sort of doomsayer warning Me and xXwankerXx being the doomsayers. Teasing without payoff for the incest character without the actual incest.... doesn't work, and will mostly either anger people (where they will then flame you, or constantly complain), or like me for BaR just turn you off it to go elsewhere.
One of my all time favourite games is Offcuts, which Ironically was initially meant to have some cest with the first girl being the sister, which they either changed because of story or patreon purge, I am inclined to believe the latter, however that said the story that it changed to was for the better main character wise (made em more interesting). TLDNR: Don't sit on the fence, either have it (by way of patch if using patreon), or don't. sitting on the fence will only make both sides try to push you over or get bored and leave.
