I didn't check the code to see how it works but I would guess you reached her limit with your last move. Did you make her pass out twice and slap her? I am asking because it happened to me too, shock + slap, clothespin + slap, and vibrator + denial were my moves as far as I remember.

A mission will be given a rank, let say C-rank and the assigned ninjas will be picked from available resources that meet the belt requirements or higher, in the case for C-rank, Yellow belt or higher.
However, this is a general rule and not a hard rule. Mission items can be re-configured according to the situations i.e. it is flexible and agile.
This was explained in Chapter 7 during the Esyl escort mission debrief session before the nearby village mysterious sickness support mission started.
On that note, I wonder why Hailey assigned 2 Red belt Team Leaders and 3 Purple belt ninjas to a D-rank mission that can potentially become a B-rank mission

Man, the attention to details that Flynn974 made the effort on this game, especially during the opening sequence of Chapter 9, while many might not noticed it. Bravo.
There are 2 sets of renders and dialogues ( one with missing the right earring and the other with wearing both earrings ), even if it is not a crucial scene as far as the main plot is concerned.
In general, this is really great for players because of consistency or continuity, but nightmare for testers because they basically had to test out and find bugs on all possible variations. Good thing is that the testers are already unpaid workers, so they won't get salary cut if they didn't do perfectly well-done job, and certainly not fired because most likely just a single tester, Flynn974 himself.

It's not the only possible combination, but there aren't a ton of them - the order doesn't seem to matter too much from what I could tell.
