If it can be done it's a VERY low chance then. I've only ever found the note in a fort (normally the first fort I explore) but I do the starting den early in every playthrough.

Does any of the choices outside the princess and aire dialogs matter during the civil war quest or is it just fluff (like with the food and peasant)?

Thanks for clearing that up otherwise it could have confused someoneJust a Heads up for those who did not knew already there is a 0.6.5c version available on the itch.io site that seems to fix Cali's quest that is still broken on 0.6.5b

May well have already been fixed (0.6.2a is pretty outdated by now) but if it hasn't you should probably know the dev doesn't frequent this site and if you want him to notice your bug reports you should post on itch or his discord.
I'm gonna play this fresh version at test this one out.
About posting in discord/itch? Maybe?? It's a not game-breaking bug, so if someone else have enough free time and desire for this to be fixed: anyone can go ahead, resend my post there.

Growth Factor can be raised with gold at the slave market. Look for the upgrade button at the bottom of that screen. The other factors can be raised with Experience points on the classes/skills character screen. Again the upgrade button at the bottom of that window.

Yes, you can raise every factor except Growth in the classes and skills section of the character screen - hit the upgrade button. You spend experience to upgrade.
You can upgrade Growth factor in the slave market for gold.

Growth can be raised via the slave trader for gold. All the others can be raised using xp.
