Anyone know how the collection calculations work?

I thought the collection was the number next to the persons name when you assign the job divided by the required progress per item... But it doesn't work out.

For example fishing for one of my characters with a 30% collection boost is calculated to be 18.7 and the progress required is 0.2, so (18.7/0.2)=93.5/turn, but you only gain ~4.5/turn.

Grain is (19/0.2) and you get about the same ~4.5, so the number is consistent but I don't understand what the number represents.

So what does the number next to the name actually mean? Are the aliens in my bedroom real?

Is it the total per day?
It's the total of the ressource, material or progress point(like upgrade/craft) per day without accounting for critical success.

Cheers, what does the progress per item thing mean, is that for stat gains or something?

The most you can get from collecting is 37/d from fish from a Human with quick trait with no skills, although does scale with wit, items and buffs I guess.

Cooking scales with wit, and the cooking skill that adds 100%, is there anything else that adds to cooking?

I need a spreadsheet for this game, my brain hurts.

The problem with the Daisy character, according to the dialogue, she stays and returns to your mansion, it is also written what is in your mansion. There are interactions through a date, but choosing to join a group or giving a task to complete does not work and it says not available in the status bar.

That used to happen if Daisy was traveling or on a mission when that event happened. I guess it's bugged again.
You might be able to find a post on the game's itch forums to manually fix your save, but it's kind of a pain.

I've got ~10 unique characters at home, and I feel some weird glanses on my back anywhere I go.
My guess is: after throwing so... SOOO MANY innocent people in some weird bio-grinder to boost stats (even children... MY CHILDREN) for every resident at my home, people become... um.. cautious around me.

Good thing I supply them with never-ending flow of food. A good way to their hearts, I say.

How do you send someone to prostitute after unlocking the skill? Why is that when I make a farm, it will only allow one out of my 6 slaves to work it (only one option that is) then tells me the growth rate is too low?

The Dark Rituals or whatever is going on for stat growth makes absolutely no sense, and there's no in-game explanation as to what the hell is going on. Before you chose between using your XP on upgrading stats or training new classes, which made perfect logical sense. Also I don't understand why there isn't racial stat caps like in Strive for Power. There's almost no difference between any of the races in this game unless you use mods.

Well to be fair Factors are something like inborn talents or potential.
The rituals are likely something alike stealing the potential of someone else to improve yourself but killing them in the process.
Gotta agree that the game is keeping the details rather vaguely... maybe since they still are subject to changes in the future.
And the races have an effect of stats... in most cases it's based on HP and resistance but sometimes it's actual stats (Harpy +10 Charm, Fox +5 Charm etc.) and rarely it has an effect on jobs like dwarfes and Arachnes).
Races also seem to affect the chances for certain factors being higher or lower.

more words :p
100% agree with "too vague" description. If we sacrifice someone and look at "relatives" screen (if the target had relative, ofc), we will see "sold2stats". And the thing, that these procedures have the cost, based on recipient slave/peon value, not donor, makes me think, that we give away soul for free + some pay for mumbo-jumbo magic SORCERY. Kind feels like we trading with demons... or that chtonic thing from the end of first Strive's last dungeon. After all this time, that forgotten one now sell his tricks on streets.
Terrifying.

About racial bonuses:
These are present, but... they are too weak?? I mean, on the first levels of initial traits (like [magic] or [growth potential] etcq) these do mean something, but after max upgrading??
Like I feel difference between 10 and 15, but between 100 and 105?? That mechanic needs some scaling, imho.
Dragon-girl can't be just "slightly stronger" than wolf-girl... or even goblin/kobold-girl.

My guess is that devs not really sure how to handle slaves value on slave market, so they not risk with crazy stat escalations (like strg/intel caps are at 80 and for charm is 300 for bunny-girls). I mean: what is more profitable now?? Spend over9000 turns to max out stats and sell slave for.. 2,5k gold?? or just assign one on "fish" duty and print money endlessly???
Also rare/exotic girls needs these crazy stat cups. It would make exotic slave trader REALLY needed.
Also2 to balance crazy-stat girls, they can have some REAL obedience problem (-50 obedience drain per day? Why not???), so there also a chance, that slave can run away if she feels negleted even after her training is complete. High risk for high profit I say.

Also slave-market needs some kind of "in-need-today" mechanic. Like this week strong slaves are in need, so every... 25str will do +50% to their value, and slaves, who have less than half of their current maximum str will also get -70% to their price.
Or elves.
Or redheads with green eyes.
Or [put class here].
Yougotitdontyou.

Could be nice, I guess.

The author confirmed that upgrading stats involves selling the slave for the privilege, not killing, but has so far not changed the confusing wording.
I agree that racial diversity is lacking. There's a few mods on itch for those who want more interesting races and classes.

I like the new "paper doll" system for character imagines. It's definitely the way to go.

Only thing though - no offense - the artwork is kind of meh.

If you're not afraid of collaboration, I'd suggest talking to the Porn Empire guy about it. He's got that mechanic down to a science & the quality is damn impressive.

It's odd, isn't it - Maverik had a very good artist commissioned on his project in between Strive 1 and 2 (currently abandoned):

I realize this is extremely rude to the artist, but... it really boggles my mind why the significant downgrade in character art happened in Strive 2, even when compared to 1.

Must have had a major falling out with that artist or something. That looked really good and goes a long way to explain why Strive 2 is so focused on combat; because that's the game Maverik actually wanted to make.

Every time I try this game, I see tinges of quality but ultimately leave massively disappointed. Despite the years dropped into it, the game currently doesn't even stack up well to the previous game. I can't really find a reason as to why I would play this over, say, eraMegaten, which is an outright slave training juggernaut in its own right.

What is this eraMegaten game? Is it a slave training game? Tried to look it up, but didn't find much about (but found it's wiki which isn't really helpful for someone who haven't seen it).
