Anyone have any mods for this game? I tried looking up places to download mods but all the links are from 2+ years ago and don't work.

Well, this is an interesting game, sorta, but I have to say that it's not exactly for me. Which colors my opinion of it somewhat.
I played for a while, and while I generally like management games and whatnot, I couldn't even be assed to finish the main story for this game, partly because said story isn't really catching me, so to speak, partly because the game does have... issues tbh.
To begin with, this isn't really a hentai/adult/whatever-you-wanna-call-it game, it's a game with that sort of content tacked on. It has a very small number of actual smut scenes in it, while the repeatable interactions are extremely bland and sometimes downright nonsensical in terms of what can be done in them. The end result is not particularly sexy tbh, and relies on imagination to the point where you might as well just jack/jill off on your own with your eyes closed.
Moving on from that, there's a lot of "great ideas, poor execution" going on with this game. Like the stat system, which for the player can end up leaving you with absurd amounts of unused and unusable stat points for the player character as you inevitably level up from doing various things. Or the whole focus on magic in general when the amount of spells you can get can be nearly maxed out before you're even halfway into the main story (aside from a specific spell that you get much later), all while most of those spells aren't particularly useful. (Mutation in particular is a joke a la playing the gacha that can theoretically achieve anything if you use it long enough and are lucky enough, but is otherwise useless.) The combat system is pretty crappy too in a number of ways and made ridiculous once you get Invigorate, which the PC can cast on themselves, which can allow for infinite grinding if you feel like it....
The race of the PC, for the most part, doesn't matter one bit aside from maybe some initial inconveniences with reputation. Reputation itself doesn't seem to matter all that much tbh aside from some specific instances, making the whole system rather easy to ignore. Would've been cool if the race of the PC actually mattered for... anything really. Well, I suppose it matters in terms of the race of their children, but that's about it...
Basically, the games has a bunch of systems that are not bad in theory, but which weren't developed enough to really shine. It kind of feels like the dev worked on this or that up to a point then got bored with it.
I'm honestly surprised that the game is rated as highly as it is, since to me it feels like it has some pretty big issues...
I dunno, it feels like it tried to be a better Slave Maker, and ultimately failed at it. At least for me. An interesting project to be sure, but I honestly think it could have used a lot more work to really shine. Oh well. Not the worst way to waste some time, and I may revisit it if I have nothing better to do...

There are a few potential problems that could cause this:
- The mod must be located in the correct location; the default path is ".../Strive/mods/randomportraits/info.txt" in the user/app data folder. The game can install the mod with different paths, but the mod is old and cannot access its own files if the path is different.
- The mod does not provide images, the user must provide correctly tagged images or a portrait pack that was tagged for the mod.
- The images must be in the correct folders of the user/app data folder: "portraits" and "bodies".
- Some combinations of attributes may not have matching tagged images available:

I played this game so many times, it's just so... peak. Here are some things I think that might help someone (correct me if wrong, or let me know if are better ways):
Art pack not working when you disable furry option in settings. (My art pack only started working after I enabled furry, and my current settings that work are: [settings tab] fullscreen: on, show sprites in dialogue: on, skip combat animation: on, use random portraits: on | [game tab] futa: on, furry: on, enable receiving sex options: on)
Find art pack and how to install it under the game download link. (I played the first 30 minutes of the game without an artpack, I am dumb it took me long to figure it out)
Best way to farm upgrade points is to buy slaves that have attribute points. I think, that's how I farmed 40+ points in like 15 minutes. The other way (that I prefer, but only works if you're strong and rich) is to go to "Marsh" (check map) and destroy bandit encampments and capture all BANDITS. If you have high reputation, you can ask the rescued people to join you (low chance to join you, but worth it)
If your slaves keep selling precious supply, go to mansion settings and see the number for supplies. Is it 10? Yeah, up that number. Supplies will sell only if its above that number.
I love mage, it is good if you know what you're doing. I was able to do 70-80 damage in the early game, and in the endgame I do ~140. Not having to care about their armor / protection is just so nice. Also, get the hammer weapon as soon as possible because it avoids armor, and get learn the aimed strike attack since it avoids protection. Mind reader is really handy since it shows you enemy stats in battle.
GET MARK SPELL FROM MAGE ORDER SHOP!! ITS A LIFE SAVER, ALSO GET GUIDANCE TO SAVE ON ENERGY!! You can cast these things when you're out of your mansion, bottom right of the screen, "control" -> spells menu
Tattoos are a must-have if you want beauty or magic affinity (more affinity = more magic damage). Can apply to yourself too if you're a mage looking for more affinity, which is awesome. 5 magic tattoos will give you +2 magic stat, and +3 beauty tattoos will give you 15 beauty. Two of my slaves work as exotic whores and bring ~500 by themselves which is more than good enough since skipping days is so easy.
In the early, sending slaves to work in market is good enough, just skip days. In the endgame, get rope and capture slaves of valuable races. Personally I just go to the Marsh for this. I go to the Marsh for everything, it's so good. One rope is 50, and the precious demon/lamia/slime/spider girls are worth like 400-500 easily. I think one of my demon girls sold for 1000+? weird how that works.
The milking quest is so annoying but you can make it bearable by using the potion that increases size. Majourous concoction I think. Find a taurus girl and apply it on her breasts until they're giant. Find material from the marsh (use mark to go back there easily, find mark at mage order spell shop) you'll have to use keys but it's faster than finding a girl with giant tits) Also lactation is annoying because how long pregnancies take. Use the lactation potion or do what I did - save scum going to slave's menu -> cast a spell -> cast mutation. Something goes wrong? revert back to the previous save. Make sure your alchemy room is on level 2/2 (mansion upgrades)
Can't go to amberguard? You probably aren't supposed to. Going there is unlocked by doing the story. I can't believe how much time I spent wandering near the elven groove, I am so dumb and silly.
Also, stress isn't really a problem... I think? I tried killing my slave by giving so much stress that the "slave is about to suffer from mental breakdown" pops up. I grouped up on the slave with 2 others, subdued, and did things that give stress. I did it without giving any rest or recovery, I did it for a week. The slave didn't die, so maybe the stress stat doesn't matter?
If you're low on mana crystal thing, make aphrodite brew. it lets you have sex with more than 3 people at once (group orgy), it gives you 100++ turns depending on slaves, and i end up earning about 500-1000 mana every session.
Lockpicks >>>> torches. Finding use for torches is too rare (unverifiable, just anecdote from my experience)
If you're low on gold, and have high reputation, you can get items by asking rescued people for material reward (they have a chance to give a random item or gold, this is so useful when starting out), sometimes they're enchanted too.
A good way to get enchanted weapons and stuff is to farm on marsh and open chests over and over again. Reason you wanna do this is because you're bored, or you want to gamble at umbra exchange.
Most of the time leveling up the slave from level 1 isn't worth it and takes too long, just go to an area where you find high level bandits and see if they have the stats you need. They will probably have leftover attribute points too, so that's fun. For me, I go to the... Marsh for that. How many times have I said Marsh lololol.
I wanna get high with this game and play it with someone else but...

What is the current pregnancy duration? Does someone know how to edit it? I searched the thread but the response was old, and the file looks different now
In ".../files/scripts/variables.gd", the value for the pregnancy duration, or "pregduration", is 31.0 by default. Editing the file directly is fine, otherwise the game comes with the Constants mod which is designed to safely change the values in that file. Note that applying mods will reset all the Strive program files so any changes that you have made to those files will be erased. Also, if you return to the main menu after entering the mansion, don't open Constants or a bug will cause it to reset your changes. Simply restart the game if you need to edit the values again.

Try changing the order of your mods or remove some and press Apply. You'll need to list your mods with version numbers and their install order if you want more specific help. If you don't have any mods, then download the game from the official site, itch.io, as it is free and whatever you've got is probably not correct.

I had no mods, but I figured it out. I had a corrupted file so I just redownloaded everything. Gonna be entirely honest I still have no idea where to get mods :/

If you're talking about the early quest for the guild, you have to be in the right forest. Try reading through the info, it should provide details on where to go. You can also ask for advice in the city, every now and then from people who might be knowledgeable about one thing or another. AFAIR, the game is pretty good with details, but it's a good while since I last played it.

Hmm. Cant get the ayda quest to trigger? can see from a walkthrough that the bunny boy is supposed to give me some missions, but he only ever greets me in the store and nothing else.
